    Thank you, guys :)

    Sorry to be coming here on such short time, but I preferred to show again as it is so that the next time I hope to come to say is already on STEx! :D And also I do not know if I'll deal with the BATs at the time of New Year's Eve and early 2015.
    The yellow and red walls need to take a "noise" to get better, but what's really bothering me is that sidewalk around the corner, it was did as it is really, but in rendering it gets weird. I think it won't look good anyway, someone has a tip for that? :(

    Bib'sfiha for everyone!  Great job so far, especially the sign. The yellow on the walls may be a little bit too bright, but that's fine by me

    I think the problem with the sidewalk is that the texture is just too small and too detailed :( I sometimes have this problem too with details on my buildings, instead of nice ornaments you can only see a blur :(

    Anyway, the building is very nice :thumb:  Good job :yes:

    "Is it not cruel to let our city die by degrees, stripped of all her proud monuments, until there will be nothing left of all her history and beauty to inspire our children? If they are not inspired by the past of our city, where will they find the strength to fight for her future? Americans care about their past, but for short term gain they ignore it and tear down everything that matters. Maybe… this is the time to take a stand, to reverse the tide, so that we won't all end up in a uniform world of steel and glass boxes." - Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

    First of:Thanks for uploading Habib`s Supermarket. The Wikipedia Entry says tht they want to expand on foreign markets,so how about opening a store in my New York City Region :D

    As for the 32 Old Slip,it`s always good to see new buildings for NYC.Even if this might not be a real beaut<queen it still belongs to the Cityscape now.

    I found out that the ground floor of this building also houses the NY Fire Department,so this might be someinteresting knowledge for later usage....and i can`t wait to see how you will do the ewflwctive glass...

    The two church buildings are super cute and i love both the scorching red and the noisy stone/brick wall from the Memorial Hall.

    I wonder if they are based on real life versions.

    So long and keep on being creative :thumb:

    A candidate for NYBT?

    Btw, You're lobby section is too tall. I've struggeled if I should start this, too or not when I was batting. But I took close looks, These columns are deifinitely too tall. Deatch is and scale it down along the z-axis

    Your work is improving immensely JP, well done.

    The tower looks great but I'm sorry to say you have made a fundamental error with one of the dimensions, hopefully its not too difficult to fix.

    RfuIdt.jpg

    You can see where the 3 arrows are, these sections should be the same width. On your model, the centre section is too narrow. That looks like it might be a bugger to fix :dead:

    In the circled sections, there are some other things you should look at as well. I'm also inclined to agree with toothless, the lobby does look a little bit tall.

    Keep up the great work :thumb:

    Some awesome work in here. I wonder if you would be interested in a Rio 2016 Olympics project? With your BATing and my CJing we could create something special. I am in need of a CJ project at the moment.

    @tonyr - Thank you very much :)

    @Hotwheeler - Thank you! The fire department will be done too. I already modeled the doors some hours ago :D. About the churches, yea, they're real buildings and are ven in the same lot! Click here to see it on Google Maps. It's from an interesting project, soon I hope to release them and give more informations about it. :)

    @Toothless Stitch - No way, NYBT is too much for me  :lol: So, the lobby I didn't found the exact measurements, then what I had to do was take the building height, that is easy to find, and then discover the lobby height with proportion, but I'll scale it down :) Thanks for the tip!

    @Reddonquixote - Thank you really much! This error with measurements really needs to be fixed, I think I know a way to do it easily, let's see :D. About the circle if you mean the details, they're already in the model, maybe too small, I'll extrude them a bit to see if it looks better. Thanks for the tips!

    @Kontantinll - Soon more informations :)

    @elavery - Thank you :) I'm having a lot of work these days, but I think a project like that would be really nice to do indeed. We can talk about it :)

    Btw, I would like to know if somone here knows what is on this parts I made some arrows, already tried to see it from Google Earth, maps, images, but nothing helped. I would be very grateful :)

    Seconding what Toothless Stitch had provided, there isn't much to show on the roof. Being that it's a New York skyscraper, I would suggest it uses similar materials from neighboring buildings. My best guess is the materials used are either a gravel or a composite material.

    Thanks for the comments and tips, guys. really appreciated!  :)

    Some days ago I started to do Maracanã for a new project on Simtropolis and SimCity Brasil. Soon we will make a specific thread about it here, but maybe it take a little longer, meanwhile I'll post it on my thread then. I won't give more details from the project now, let's wait to see everything in the right thread :D

    The initial idea for the Maracanã is to do not only the stadium, but the entire complex around and subdivided into several lots.

    maraca2.jpg

    The model looks 'incomplete' due to be empty in the top grandstands, but actually the roof will cover it, that's why I'll do nothing there. The only part that appears there is exactly the VIP cabins. I want to do the roof tomorrow, tried today but without success  :(

    I'm already thinking about how to do the grandstands, probably the best way is a texture, because copy more then 70k seats...will never work. I'll try to do a texture from this image, if anyone has any better idea and want to take a guess, feel at ease  :)

    The images are in zoom 5, click on them to see it bigger.

    Wow, amazing work on the model. Your modelling skills are increasing exponentially. We just need to get your textures as good ;)

    It will be interesting to see how you go with the textured grandstands. I'd say at a minimum you'd want to experiment with very strong bump maps or displacement maps to give it some form.

    Ps. I'm always amazed with stadiums how conceptually little they have changed in  2000 years...
