Some scenes from across the Pampas. More in my recent CJ update here (and better quality versions with less compression).

The mosaics have me literally breathless ! *

I exported all the pinus halepensis that I have (6) and even did the MMP (12 clicks per model = 72 clicks *).

pinusalll.png

I don't know whether to divide the MMP in two so that you don't have to do so many clicks. Btw, The reason I made the mmp have a lot of clicks is to control the rotation of the tree.

Maybe you should divide in two, 72 clicks are way too many. Your work is so awesome, that we would like to use all of them. Thank you for doing this.

Edit the second: So it turns out my idea for using Romualdillo's fences creates some ugly effects on slopes. I should probably just make peace with how it looks, but this sort of thing is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Disappointing.

Perhaps we can convince @Girafe to export some smaller lengths of the HD fence pack.

An update with the Nice International Terminal

It is in game and the main terminal lot done. Some close ups first....

The idea is to ensure that it can co-exist with the modular airport runway packs available on the exchanges (ignore the missing ground textures, I am showing this in a very pared-back plugins file):

ln21SN7.jpg

....so that end, I'll be making another couple of modular pieces that join the airport up to the modular runway more seamlessly, as well as (hopefully) being able to use the diagonal area to link in with the diagonal runway project

Absolutely mindblowing! such great work! *:D*:thumb:

Maybe these little guys can help you:

Impressive Matt,  finally after a long time a new airport terminal.

I would be very, very happy if he @Girafe could export each fence divided into 4m lengths (or even 8m).

If you look in my second mega pack, I made 4 different 4m HD pressure treated pine fence sections that you could use. By using 4 sections per 16m it will look a lot better on slopes.

Here is the link

They're excellent! I've used them on R$ lots before and loved the effect. The only reason I haven't trotted them out for this set was a lack of other shorter-length fence props to mix in for variety.

^  You know, those 12/12 roof pitches are only used on those northern Yankee houses. The rest of the US usually uses 6/12 or flatter.

Not much I can do about the roof pitches, since the models come from another (long-retired) user and are based off of homes in Toronto (which, incidentally, is my hometown -- that might explain their appeal to me).

In any case, I usually stick to a northern Yankee lotting and city-building style, based on American cities like Chicago, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, as well as some parts of Toronto and other Ontario towns/cities in the areas where I grew up. It might make the lots a little less universal, but I like to think it gives my lots a little more character and helps ensure they can all be grown together seamlessly.

@mattb325

Yo, my friend --

This is a magnificent airport !! *:thumb:  *:thumb:  *:thumb:  *:thumb:  *:thumb:

If you examine it closely, it is not only beautiful in color and texture, but sharply detailed, masterfully lit, and stupendous in design and scope!!  The roof texture alone is a "realist" masterpiece !!  "Go get 'em, Champ" -- and STAY SAFE !!

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

@mattb325 Really excellent work on the airport. Can't wait to implement it inside my region.
