OMG @WolfZe, I'm so disappointed that these are not for general release! They are such fantastic models.

Thank you very much. Maybe I publish one or the other. It's just so crazy meanwhile and it takes a lot of time to publish it all. Let's see if I can find the time ......

@WolfZe

I believe it might be possible to gauge the opinion on the latest round of custom content to decide which ones to publish first. I personally believe the ships should be at a high priority, the existing ones aren't that varied and there's many I haven't found published yet. I'm very sure other players will favor other content types.

Sorry but that's the problem. I post something that I have built for myself, then maybe get 10-12 "blue hearts" and then I should estimate whether it is worth the work and time to invest to publish it? Of course there are always one or the other user who likes something and that makes me happy, of course. But to conclude that a publication is also "worthwhile" would be a mistake and wasted time. I have already published things that are like lead in the database ....

I completely understand. The decision is and always should be yours as to whether you want to invest the time to publish your creations. I haven't uploaded too many items to the STEX though I hate sharing anything I feel is less than perfect.

If you do decide to upload, please know that i will be appreciative and if you dont, that's no one else's business. I will enjoy the pics and files you share no matter what.

I, for one, have downloaded every single thing you've made available and eagerly await more from you, @mattb325, and @Simmer2. You guys are incredibly talented and your creations go a long way toward making my cities come alive.

Did you already consider opening a development thread? It can speed up the search for uploaded content by linking the development thread itself to the signature and other uploaded plugins, and linking uploaded content in the thread. Also, it can help you make your decision by just announcing a newly made model/plugin.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

Sometimes I wonder if I will ever finish all the ships, Buildings, Soldiers, tanks and airplanes of World War II... *:D

My main goal is to recreate scenes like this one using SimCity 4 and photoshop.

I want to say yes, but they way that ferry lots work means that they have to have a water and land tile. That seriously limits how a building or prop can be placed to overhang. It is likely to cause an immortal lot (only on water...ripplejets immortality killer can't be placed on water, lol!) Other options may be possible, but it will take a bit of thought to get it to function....

In the meantime, I was having too many hkabt 'oops inns' growing in my cities, so I whipped up a little competition....inspired by the Yamaha building in Tokyo's ginza district:

Sincerely appreciate the explanation.  No worries, the ortho will look just as good!

The nightlights on that Yamaha building look spectacular!

Love the glass facade and those night lights. Don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that in SimCity. Creates a very warm stained glass effect on what would otherwise be a dull 80s-style corporate tower. *:)
