These Haarlemmergold buildings still look great! I tried to give each garden a different look, but avoiding overlapping textures isn't easy (Oh, and need to adjust that hedge though *)

I love it when buildings from the early days of SC4 get spruced up with all the new textures and props now available

I've had that problem lotting my row houses, because several aren't 8 m wide yet all must fit the grid. When it gets bad, you can use some grass base texture and make patio patches and pathways with props instead.

So far @11241036's texture pack and the Vortext dirt and grass have been great to fill those smaller bits of 1x1 tiles. Might eventually have to create something that overwrites the ID's of the former's vanilla grass to fit my Appalachian grass. That way my lots would still be compatible for the majority of users.

I haven't been able to make the leaves look good

Hi,I don't know what's bothering you about your trees, but (considering the jpg screenshot)... they look good, a tender spring green! Nice ...

What is good when you have nothing to say is that you can always pretend to listen. Anyway it does not prevent to think!

This is definitely going to be useful. We don't have anything like this. I can't wait!

Sollent Marina´s & More II !

Little more refinement, expande East Cowes marina area, added diagonal Marina walls and at the other location try to make it little more than just marina boat landings !

Really nice work, I love the selection of small buildings to serve as the marina offices and workshops in that last pic!

@hugues aroux I improved the color a bit. The quality of the tree's geometry isn't the best, and perhaps that's why I feel it looks bad. *:D

Trees are imperfect by nature.  To the contrary, your work never seems imperfect!

oh ! If, like me, you can't identify the species of this tree (thuja, cypress...?), the overall shape isn't jarring. On the contrary, I found this structure natural (Wednesday snapshot!) un poco de imperfección... *:ohyes:.
OK, in tonight's snapshot the 3rd one (L->R) seems to be getting a wind gust on the left! *:P

Thank you, That's why I searched for some minor business units to represent a small marina workshop ! A Shipcrane and or ramp to the marina set would be awesome as well some MMP's !

Sincerely yours,

Kschmidt

@justforfun I love your ability to remove shadows from textures *:thumb:

Thank you, what a compliment from a perfectionist like yourself!  I must say, selecting the right pictures and then preparing them for mapping is the most tedious part. Would you agree?
