Is there a reason why the rock ledge features appear to be overly repetitive -?

Oooooh It's beautiful! I don't think it's that striking - sunset effect - just a slightly pink rock! At least in these shots. *:thumb: Does SC4 support multiFSH on Terrain tex' ?

But how did these two idiots get onto this ledge? Once again, we need to send a civil security helicopter... pfff!

What is good when you have nothing to say is that you can always pretend to listen. Anyway it does not prevent to think!

this is it *:ohyes:

Maybe make some 2 or 3 color variations.

I would use this version, looks similar to the same rocks here at Cumbres National Park and a lot of south Chinese places I play with the game

I think that's how the 3D software renders the shadows, and that depends on a lot of things.

@Dreadnought This is because we can only use one rock texture and the more jagged the rock, the more obvious the pattern will be. ^_^

@watercitymadero I think I fixed the texture *:thumb:

Holland - Zoetermeer II !

Last post straight outline of the northern part of town was presented. This as  the Driemanspolder and Dorp are started and laer covered seperately ! The modern Zoetermeer with the Stadslijn as it was called back then. Everything of this part of town specialy designed for free flow of traffic. SimCity 4 not have a dedicated bike path tunnel makes it less realistic but I tried to make bike lane look like bike lanes !

Buytenwegh -De Leyens !

Suburbia tree like leaves spread out !

Palenstein !

Lower highrise to come and a educational and sports area !

Cloverleafe Insurrance as mentioned and I found some very nice bus station by GizmoCity !

Enjoy !

Nice!  Already downloaded and played with it a bit, and it looks great in-game.  Btw, mind if I request another Akiba BAT, namely Akihabara Gamers/Takarada Duty Free Store, after you're done with AOKI and Don Quijote???  Specifically from before the famous Dejiko sign was taken down and also includes the Maidreamin advertisement (otaku Sims desperately need access to a maid cafe;)???

I know I'm kinda pushing it here (I love these sorts of buildings and would make them myself if I could), but there's also Tsukumo.eX, specifically from when it still boasted the Tsukumo-tan mascot above the front entrance.

I'll add it to the Japanese list. I probably can repurpose the Don Q/AKB48 for it which also has 45 degree signage. Another I want is the Tamtam Hobby Shop since I am personally a collector of such things. I'd also love the Bic Camera and the Trader building next to Taito as well. The one above my skill level would be Yodobashi, but I said that last year about Game/G6/other buildings in the works.

A few others on my list: Uniqlo Ginza, GU Ginza, the Grand Scape, and a few Osaka ones like the DonQ ferris wheel building and the Round 1/DonQ as well. Of course, you can feel free to DM me any suggestions as well.

Nice.  Although technically Bic Camera already exists in SimCity 4 in the form of it's old identity as Sofmap hon-kan, which was BAT'd by mozukuss.  Of course a modernized version would be cool if you're wanting to do that.  In that case maybe you could do Edion/LaOX as as well (another already added by yuhisa in the form of Ishimaru/LaOX).  And yeah, I can see how Yodobashi would be difficult.  Same with Volks Hobby Paradise (formerly Ishimaru Denki [exists in simtropolis, courtesy of William] and later Yellow Submarine).  Also Tamtam Hobby Shop would be cool too.

Also fun fact: most of what people refer to as Akihabara is actually Sotokanda, in far northern Chiyoda Ward.  The actual Akihabara district is a small neighborhood just to the Northeast in neighboring Taito Ward.  Technicalities aside, Akihabara is awesome.

Don't forget that Don Quijote is technically larger than it's neighbors.  Most buildings are 1x2 or 2x2 but Don Quijote would be most realistic as a 3x3.  Likewise if doing Tsukumo.eX it would probably be most realistic as a 1x1 (similar to the Digital Art Building in Ikebukuro, part of art128's Tokyo Buildings Collection).

Yeah, this is where it's at so far, lol. I don't have any textures on it. But it will be rescaled to 3x3.

What I need to do is create the Donki logo for this first before I do anything else with it
