I’m definitely going to do quite a few brands I think. These all are coming with tons of new car props. Focusing on Asia/Oceania right now but Europe in the future for sure. I’d probably also do a retro Saab dealer too as well as more common ones there like Peugeot, Seat, Skoda, Dacia etc.

we badly needed a new Nissan one because the one we have that Mike did is about 20 years old and they have changed their branding multiple times since then.

It would be awesome if someone created Ferrari, Maserati, Rolls Royce, and other high end car dealerships.  Just a suggestion.

SimCity 4 Vanilla gameplay Today !

Little side project on a offline machine with the orginal version of SimCity 4 ! Some differences, GUI little different with abscence of building style button abscent, taxes window less wide and a restriction of 8 prc !

Last year plus minus graphic bar finaly show a little plus !

This very nice, soft, medium or hard didn´t excist ! With time explore some more old core game features long burried with modern gameplay !

It's Simcity4 not SimCity 4 Deluxe ! Actually found some time afther SC4 Dlx a copy at a Game mania recycle shop. This perfect environment for some vanilla gameplay !

SimCity 4 Vanilla gameplay II !

Some more experience with SimCity 4 original game building farms and little communities ! Standard utilites are perfectly fine for a urban enviroment with lots ofdevelopment. Farms aren´t mentioned in the  taxes menu and don´t generate any income.  Low cost strategy with only bare minimum, a water tower, windpower and some rewards survice ? First I have a mix of both where the facilities need to be earned. Cashflow, you have a budget you build residentials, business, industrie you earn money to stay up blanced !

Second model reflects the use of rewards like a army base as extra income and some industrial, commercials present. Here we see some ever present problems, water pollution and resulting, lack of funds to do about, residentials complain about. it except the ussual complain about healtcare and schooling !

What said, add cibics you most lower cost immidiately at start or your budget get burned alife ! >Raising a town with every block energy demand increases significly, so watch your budget ! >t certain stage it helps to change blocks from low to medium zoning to increas population !

Last we have a tile with the bare minium turning profit because of the two army bases present ! Farms won´t supply to taxes ? That´s some differnece with the deluxe version. This show some odd hardness of the original game wich played vanilla give a true original experience compair th what we are used to today ! City building like the urban part is no comparison from as it fully functions !

La Campaigne, La France Tile Moved !

Tonight a second move this time the first real french tile I created random in the Berlin region moved to a new region Tours ! This region this tile was originaly supposed to be there, but due to little experimental  stage and not yet clear destination wan´t decided over. There where some more tiles but strangely the import couldn´t find them. That´s no problem progress wasn´t very  far so catch up will be not so dificult !

La Campaigne placing I chose the right lower corner, left only adjust the river little to match up ! Working on so many projects this will as last Puglia and Catalunya a come and go project, diaorma like. Little Asia now more mayor project beside the New Chicago project in last stages !

Update:

Last houres I figured out why some of the tiles won´t fit into destination spots ! This is very simple the sizel As you see Berlin region there is one large and three medium tiles. The large one La Campaigne wnet as expected. Adjacent tiles are different so I had to find a new destination and change the names to be more french !

So those are aswell saved for the future. ! Very nice rural scene´s. Last Roches sur Cherr litle les developed and up on Berlin map didn´t find a place yet !

I finally got around building a coal port, using @Paulus' excellent set. I used a lot of MMPs, applying lessons from a great showcase by @The British Sausage. Thank you both! Here is my (not quite finished) take on it.
