What is good when you have nothing to say is that you can always pretend to listen. Anyway it does not prevent to think!

Special thanks to @Bobelboy, without his support this would not have been possible.

We added the Queen Victoria monument that @justforfun requested. *:thumb:

Great to have a Queen Victoria statue! My hometown Southend has one; though it used to be prominent on Pier Hill it since has been moved.

Yay! Her Majesty appreciates and says she'll be using the statue in her own maps.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

So, my big project is off to a lousy start. I opened all 88 tiles only to realize I forgot to install a terrain and water mod. Reloaded the map and got about a third in before finding that I mis-cut the map in Mapper. Finally got it on the 3rd try-

The big draws in this section: Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach. Updated tile total for this project- 1408.

In the meantime, a little relotting, insane in the crane...

It must be soul-crushing to try to load 10GB of plugins with a XIX century laptop.

Thought "math" is not my area of expertise -- I believe Charles Babbage was actually tinkering with crude mechanical computers in Victoria's day. *

Mis-read that as Field Apple...which is a completely different thing!*:kitty:

Another section of map ready. Up by the Georgia border, where oranges and mullets are grown.

You just made me think of something; we don't an MMP of fallen fruit to put on our sidewalks, I don't have the simple eloquence to express what I mean, but when I walk the dog in Fall around the suburbs, there is always apples, pears, conkers, twigs, empty Costa coffee mugs and Milky Way bar wrappers everywhere on the ground, and we don't have an MMP to recreate that!
