I love those! Especially the garage doors and gates. Would you be interested in starting a BAT team? I would love to work with you to create more content.

Yes! That would be great! I do have experience modding and with the Lot Editor!

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

Following on from the first set of functional cul-de-sacs comes the 'master planned' community (or housing estate for those of us outside the US).

I've made a bunch of new houses for this. These are real homes from a texas home builder (50' wide lots which correspond to 16m in SC4). The following lots are 10x10

They are functional:

...and I will also release the houses individually (1x1,1x2 & 2x2 lots)for more traditional-style suburb building:

@mattb325 I literally, audibly gasped when I saw this. :golly: Thank you for making these and is it too soon for some sort of lifetime achievement award?

Maxis rail texture fits millimetrically into a 133% scaled train on all axes. :ooh:

NOW THERE'S SOMETHING I COULD PLAY WITH !!  *:thumb: *:thumb: *:thumb:

Especially if it comes in separate pieces -- engine & tender -- with various cars.

Would be fabulous if you had a "Union Pacific Big-Boy" (4-8-8-4 configuration).

Any help needed with SCILT textures for these?

Also, extremely happy about the smaller suburban homes. They fill a perfect niche for R$$ and match up so well with your McMansion series. The mirroring and color variations are perfect as well.

Was outta pocket for a bit and I get back and wow there are some awesome creations in the works!  Looking forward to the @Simmer2 research facility, @mattb325 community,, in particular.

Now, if you'll allow me to bring the quality down to a mortal's level ....

Current experiment: Ploppable Bamboo Forest.  Not sure I'm liking how this is turning out but if there's any appetite for it, I'll toss it on the exchange.

@BartonThinks, re the sclit, yes, for sure as I imagine many folks want only uniformity on their streets: but what you see in the pictures aren't actually maxis sidewalks (they're from CP texture packs) so hopefully there are maxis textures that conform - for instance, one of the textures is a diagonal piece with two ortho transitions on one side...it may not be possible to replicate all of the pieces used, but it is worth a shot *:thumb:

Ah, I should have taken a closer look! The CP street textures and grass textures are a dead giveaway...

This complicates things a bit, because the CP street + sidewalk textures don't match up with the Maxis/NAM street textures. CP's streets are narrower, his sidewalks run directly next to the streets instead of having a grass median, and the sidewalks are baked into the textures themselves. If I simply repurpose the NAM textures like I did with the cul-de-sac lots, you'll have textures for diagonal SCILT streets, but they won't match up with CP's textures, and that means you would need to re-lot everything from scratch. (haha)

The alternative would be to generate SCILT versions of the CP street + sidewalk textures. Unfortunately, I don't think there's an easy way to do that, because the sidewalks are baked into the textures themselves. If there's an easy way to block out the sidewalks in Photoshop, there should be a way to engineer SCILT-compatible versions using Go FSH. But my photo editing skills are pretty cobbled together, and I'm not sure how easy it is to do that.
