It looks to be 100 years old? The building seem to be about to crumble in a heap of old rotten timbers!

This building will stand for another 100 years. This is excellent work!

However I have never seen anyone make that kind of intersection, perhaps I will not release it due to it being such a niche item. It would be interesting to see anyone make that kind of slip lane crossroad though.

I cannot find it now but some months ago I uploaded an image of a huge roundabout I was doing, which included divergent slip lanes on the entrances; sadly, your current fountain (which is gorgeous and I wanna) wouldn't fit, as it was just two slip lanes against a straight road. But maybe adding some of those variations wouldn't harm?

One wonders what kind of factory was it in its hay days.

Looks like a charcoal factory, or maybe a small sawing mill, specifically for making sleepers?

Sinnoh Battle Frontier like in Pokemon Gen 4? What an unusual and unique theme to represent in SimCity.

Any plans for other places from the main games to recreate in SimCity?

Finally, someone takes notice!

Yes, take a look at my post history and you'll notice most of my stuff from the past year and half is about the Sinnoh Region, which I started back in August 2017 and faced delays due to Hurricane Maria and a dangerously busy academic semester following the initial recovery. It's very close to completion, I would hope it doesn't take me beyond mid-March at my current rate.  Once it's complete I expect to start another main series Pokémon region and a secondary region from elsewhere in the franchise.  Stay tuned for what I'll be posting in March!

As for the other Pokémon regions, I indeed have plans to recreate others, but not limiting myself to the main videogame/anime series regions. At present this is the planning status of all the pokémon regions I intend to recreate with SimCity 4:

Main videogame / anime series regions:

  • Kanto: base map pending creation (Kanto Plain and surroundings, this reaches beyond the largest Tokyo maps available).
  • Johto: map already created and rendered (Kansai and Chubu regions of Japan), pending swap-out of game mods. Strong candidate 1 for development in the foreseeable future.
  • Hoenn: map already created and rendered.
  • Unova: still debating which New York City map to use for this one. Strong candidate 2 for development in the foreseeable future.
  • Kalos: map already created and rendered (northern 2/3rds of Metropolitan France + Rhineland), pending swap-out of game mods. Strong candidate 3 for development in the foreseeable future.
  • Alola: pending creation of custom map from existing Hawaiian island maps. Terrain mod selection also pending, but partially made.

For the other regions of the Pokémon universe that I've been considering, this is their planning status:

  • City of Altomare: setting for the movie Pokémon Heroes: Latios and Latias, its corresponding map is available (city of Venice) but will require a massive overhaul of the game buildings I use.
  • Kingdom of Rota: setting for the movie Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, this one has the map created and rendered, along with its mod / custom content selection already made. I expect to feature it in a city journal starting in March.
  • Almia: setting of Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, base map pending creation (southwest peninsula of Hokkaido, Tsugaru strait and Aomori Prefecture).
  • Fiore: setting of Pokémon Ranger, map selected (city of Naples), some modification of custom buildings required.
  • Orre: setting for Pokémon Coliseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, map and mods available, requires some terrain mod swapping.

Finally, here's a teaser of what's coming:

Spoiler

Tree of Beginning, one of two centerpieces of the Kingdom of Rota.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !
