After largely completing a full renovation of my DTQ Four tile, which includes most of the regions main institutions, I've since moved on to some other tiles to bring them up to code so to speak.  This one seen here is the newly renamed Vancouver - South Central and it rests directly below DTQ 4.  It's rebuild has largely been completed as well, though there is still some cosmetic work to complete.  Here are some photos.

Cambie Circle.  A large roundabout at the intersection of Cambie Street and King Edward Avenue.  The Cambie and King Edward transit lines dip under the roundabout into a large subway station.

The intersection of 29th and 31st Avenues near Queen Elizabeth Park.  31st and its bus line run diagonally along Queen Elizabeth and merge into the 29th Avenue corridor where the bus line continues west.

Next up is the 52nd and Main business district.  This is at the intersection of 52nd Avenue and Main Street and generally runs along 52nd to Victoria Drive.  This is getting pretty deep into South Vancouver at this point.

52nd runs from bottom to top along the right side of the picture.  Main Street has the LRT line that runs from left to right.

This here is another piece of that station's puzzle, I know its not a skyscraper with built in fireworks and animated lighted elevators but its still a piece that was needed.

Building a new city, Roof, and fill it in with tiny ideas, like the fillers between the red roof houses.

I.m a little bit chaotic sometimes and don't take the patience to write everything down when I make something, afraid that I'm get out of my drift :-).

The idea is to release these little things in a pack, with some alleys and a boardwalk and that kind of stuff. But it is time and choices, so it will be later.

Finally getting back into this game after several months. I've been playing it on/off since like 2011, but have never been any good at it, and so, as a result, I have nothing to show for all the 400 Steam-hours I've put into this game. Until now! I've finally started making something I'm more/less satisfied with. It might not be the most aestheticaly-pleasing thing, but I'm having fun with it, and that's what counts..... right?

.....As ashamed as I am to admit it, I do prefer using the MHW.

I was having traffic problems along this AVE, so I upgraded it to a RD-6.

I should probaly add some turn-lanes at that intersection.

@nycsc4  Thank you, Tyberius06 just beat me to it, just make sure you have all the dependencies otherwise you'll be seeing right through them and into the earth  when using this lot in particular plop it right on the side of the hill  and bingo @Bipin has a made a lot of very realist lots like these that look great in-game. 


@JulianMIA  Thanks! It's a simple solution that's quite effective appearance-wise for making tunnels.

Great use of MMP´s ! Draining the water I hoped you would use the diagonal bridge enabler to create a non standard bridge, very well done !

I think that's just MMP water, so no need to drain anything - sure looks great though - especially like the rocky banks.

Right now I'm teaching so I only get a few hours spare time every night on weekdays.

But I'm creating these scenes really quickly and ideas are coming out of nowhere- I'm in a good groove.

Soon I won't be teaching and I will have more spare time and so more opportunity to post more pictures and CJ entries.

@philforhockey51  Nice, that's a lot of mmp plopping you've placed. I particularly like the bridges/viaducts.


Speaking of mmp's been a while since I made a river scene, here's a piece of a small creek I made the other day.
