This is so much needed!!

Would you consider doing an 7,5 metres deep version? 15 metres is nice, but I think it's a bit too much for what amounts to be a sub-surface tunnel

Consider this image:

subwaytunnel.jpg

Bloor-Danforth (Green) was built in the 1960s, Sheppard (Purple) in the late 90s and the Relief Line (Blue) will start construction hopefully in a couple years. The line not shown here, Yonge-University, is about 6.5 m at its open cuts and that section was built in the early 1950s. So, it all comes down to what era your modeling for station depth.

Undoubtedly, but those are full-depth tunnels meant to operate fully covered, not having open trenches on stations. Sub-surface stations on trenches are much shallower, frequently having a roof that goes over the sorrounding terrain level:

Lets see how this project pans out first shall we? I have never done sunken stations, they are a totally different beast due to the LODs setups and they use a very precise dimension scheme.

Ok, maybe I was being overly confident, but this one looks really impressive and well done, hence my optimism...

As far as I know there are no 7.5m trench style sunken stations in game. On the other hand, there are a few 15m based ones.

You can literally count them with your fingers: there is one by Mattb325, a modular one by Carpenter7, a trio of them by Tadasu (including a 6 track one), one by bcgpapa and another one (that I cannot find right now, but seems to be british) that is only for GLR. So there are, seven stations, from which only one (the modular one) can be used on 7.5 trenches.

I really should not be working on the tourist and downtown areas, but I like the progress so far. A good chunk of it is static landmarks so the commercial demand doesn't take a huge hit. This city is also the capital city of the region. Picture #4 has what is meant to be the presidential residence, the parliament/congress building, and the main headquarters of the national police, among other older style buildings.

Lookin' good! And yet, once more I have the impression that some roof junk elements are floating in the air. Maybe check their height to be sure?

Love the sunken station Simmer.  Somehow it reminds me of Half Life 2 when Gordon Freeman gets the pistol.

Now we need someone to make a BWW, Aarons, and RAC :P

Do I smell a new mall?

I think I know someone....

By the time I'm done with these signs there may be over 50 signs with different logo combinations for different regions. Yeah, you probably smell hard work but not necessarily a new mall at this time.

@Evanjs It is tiring to get these signs to work, but we'll see.

Always down for some more vehicles.

Heck, if I could actually figure how to do  this, I’d be bombarding the STEX with a bunch of cars, as I’m a car nut.

I like but I’d like to see one with a Starbucks. Also like to so maybe a longer front building with this greenhouse look also if you’d like a picture I could get you one.

@RRetail How big is this going to be?

I'm thinking it would look better in a stripmall . The one near my house is in a strip mall, and it looks just like the one you made.

The building itself is on a lot size of 4x5. This was made purposely bigger then the department stores as the department stores were meant to be in scale with SG's RLS Mall. I strive for realism you know....

I do eventually plan to do just that as most of these greenhouse Krogers were a part of a strip mall sometimes even with a Kmart. Got to start somewhere.

You'll get what you get and you won't throw a fit. The size is right as it is.
