Request:  a garbage barge.  Or rather, a small port (preferably with some seedy-looking barge attached) that handles garbage.

For island cities with limited space for local garbage-handling, this would be a huge help.

Pegasus already created which might be what you're looking for. It's intended to complement the other CDK3 uploads.

There is also which calls the former as a dependency.

I was wondering of the mid wealth and hi wealth residential low, medium and high density buildings could be imported into SC4. (Not the cities of tommorow, just the original)

I was wondering whether anyone had created personally, or would be willing to create, a simple grass extender to get rid of the blank space caused by a bridge.

They'll be used in a park setting and used alongside the great extenders by Nightowl, http://www.simpeg.com/forum/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=662

Ideally I'd like to to match that grass texture.

If anyone has something already or would be kind enough to create one I'd be very grateful,

I accidentally did something like it before. For example, make the lot 1x3, but a base texture on every one of the tiles, change it back to 1x1, and the other two are hanging off.

That's an emblematic tower indeed :ooh: , and looks simple to do, would be nice to have it on SC4.

I would love to a few truly modern full size hospitals in the game as there are not really any at moment that are large and modern.

Mayby like these?.

Hello, If anybody is interested there is free book (full view) on Google Books called The American Skyscraper 1850-1940: A celebration of height (link) with pictures and descriptions of a lot of old skyscrapers (most not existing anymore). It can be great reference for people interested in recreating some perfect buldings for the Chicago and New York tilesets

Airship port with Lockheed Martin P-791

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_Martin_P-791

(Without the military, perhaps a big smiley face on the side instead!)

I feel that Airports are a little neglected in Sim City modding circles. Don't get me wrong, there is some great stuff out there just not a lot of it. I also like to give my city a alternative history feel and what says "alt.history" more than airships!

I was thinking a 6X6 square, simple circular tarmac landing pad compatible with an existing Airport tile set.

Hopefully this will inspire others to mod Airship related vehicles and lots, or I might just be full of hot air.

BAT Request | 12-9-14 | Whole Foods Market

Description:

Whole Foods Market

Why:

To my knowledge, SC4 doesn't have a Whole Foods yet. How do our Sims get their expensive organic produce without it? The travesty!

I agree with SimCoug. Something along the lines of the European MMP signage that the VIP team released a while back ;)

I wonder how many folks there are still creating custom buildings for use in the game?  Aside from that curiosity, I'd love to see someone and/or some creators tackle some Las Vegas Casinos so that we might be able to recreate such a town in our own regions.  There aren't many options around and the casino in-game is really pretty bland.

There are actually quite a large number of casino BATs on the STEX.  Just do a quick search for 'casino' and you will find a number of pages worth.  I'll bet if you did some further digging you could come up with many more (including other SC4 exchanges).

Unfortunately will probably never make it to the STEX :(

Hey guys...

while doing some research with google earth for my NYC Region, i came across a very interesting and weirdly shaled building.

It is called The Corinthian and it serves as a large residential building with commercial space on the first three floors.

3563353036323364.jpg

I would love to have this building in my game and maybe others will like it to (i think it looks very unusual for NYC, it fits more together with all those crazy highrisers from Hong Kong)

So maybe someone would be so nice to bat this for me.

No need of fancy modelling, a landmark with nightlighting would be fine.

R. Aruia mansion

built: 1935

architect: Harry Goldstein

location: Constanta, Romania

note #1: it can fit into a 2x1 W2W

note #2: if someone wants i can provide more pictures (old and new) with other art deco buildings from my hometown

why should we have it in the game: there is a real lack of art deco individual homes

I'm certain this has been requested a veritable number of times before, but I'd like to request New York City's monolithic Metropolitan Museum of Art.  I imagine this would sit on an 8x10 lot (the 10 on the 5th Avenue side).  If anyone could do this, I'd be grateful for it.

Hello, i know that there are already an insane amount of requests. But I want to submit one.  :)

There is a beautiful soviet-era cinema in Yerevan,Armenia. This is not only a personal request, but I think BATers will really like the architecture and lighting of this specific building.

This is also a cool way to find fun BATs to do. Well known Armenian buildings to BAT

art deco building build in the 20s

GF: restaurant, book store, car wash, car service

rest of the building: parking

why should we have it: lack of w2w parkings, lack of real life parkings, lack of art deco/hystoric parkings, beacuse we love art deco :D

I'm wondering if anyone could do The Jacob K. Javits Centere from New York City.

post-288142-0-98507900-1421827647_thumb.post-288142-0-57721600-1421827662_thumb.

It's convention center in the Hell's Kitchen section of Manhattan. It has over 1.8mil sq. ft. of total area space and over 840k sq. ft. of floor space. It is home to many annual events like the NY Boat Show and the NY International Auto Show. It houses many other events through out the year as well. It utilizes a space frame construction and, as you can see, is pretty much completely covered in glass except for a few areas. From pictures I see there looks to be a small dock and/or a small heliport in the rear of the entire building as well.

I believe that that this could be utilized as a large convention center in the game and could bring many medium and high wealth CO and CS to a city along with a lot of high tech industry as they would want to get products out to showcase during various conventions and shows. Plus it looks good in my mind :P. It could also have a number of CS and CO jobs alone.

:D

Yo, guys --

I have been running from forum to forum for about four days -- can't remember if I left a message here or not -- so please bear with me.

I'm looking for some classic statues in bat form (don't know how to work with props and batting stuff).

Some 2x2 equestrian stuff -- if possible (already found RE Lee, Napoleon, and Frederick The Great) -- more would be cool.

But I really need some statues in 1x1 bat form.  Historical figures -- Wellington -- Peter The Great -- Bismarck -- Trafalgar Lions -- politicians or generals -- or Greek mythology themes.

I'm trying to design a park layout from exisiting game stuff -- decorative tiles, flowerbeds, small plazas, etc, etc.  Sort of a custom designed Central Park idea.  I've found bunches of bats for parks, but they are limited in that you can't fit them into odd shaped spaces.

It seems odd that we have so many things crammed into an SC4 map -- but very few statues -- and very limited choices.

1.  Does anyone know where I can download some?

2.  Could or would anyone be willing to do some new bats?

Which brings up another question:  Why hasn't anyone done a bat for Trafalgar Square?

Any help would be appreciated -- PLEASE !

P.S. I didn't download any pictures because it seemed so obvious -- Wikipedia has tons of pics.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !
