Captivating work as always - it amazes me how a plugin folder that would surely groan under the weight of such varied custom content (heck, I've even seen some of my stuff in there) can be made to behave so well as to get Bixels apartments growing en masse! You must know the game so well to be able to get that to happen...

Love that little old station in the last pic too...but I sense something very japanese(maybe?) on the way...can't wait :-)

My plugins folder is only 1.3 gig ... small compared to a few members out there ... but yes I like to have custom content as the basis of all my Regions I do. The Maxis ones fail to meet the standards some members here produce. I am confident in saying I know the game back to front, after much involvment in several groups here, learning different aspects of the game and using certain tools to make things preform better and as I would like them too. I know just how to get what I want to grow to ...

As for the station ... well... I'm afraid that is still a secret...lol ... It could be Japanese though ...

gerAndi ... lol.. thanks as always my friend, I really value your comments here. Thanks for all the comments about the apartment area... I appreciate it. There are actually about 30,000 to 40,000 living in that area... it is one of the more heavily populated areas of St Marque Inlet, let alone Alicante City.

wouanagaine ... Hehe ... you should bookmark this CJ *hint hint* and view it atleast once a week... but really... thanks for your comment. About your question ... with the right size zone and density level, as well as bulldozing ones that I don't like as soon as they grow...lol.

E.J.C ... Thanks for stopping by and commenting.. as I said above a few times, the Helsinki Station is currently in the testing stages, it is part of the ever expanding collection of SYM Production bats that are nearly ready for release... I hope it won't be much longer before it is released though...

Well ... time for an update I guess... Last time I showed you the Santa Pola Station that was due for an upgrade with all those new apartments and many many more people in the area using the public transport .. So here it is ... Originally...

The front of the upgraded station is a statue of Govenor Pola ... One of the first settlers of the Region, it is whom the suburb is named after.

Some other interesting developments are taking place across the City in every part of it infact... Here is a small slice of Heaven for those high class travellers coming to Alicante City ... the Sebaden Great Eastern, Alicante City. Location, location, location...

Coming up in the next update .. you'll get a look at some more construction around the place ... Including this huge apartment complex ... Bixel Apartments on the waterfront of Downttown Alicante City....

Also in the next update I'll show you pictures of the new Alicante Gas Co ... One of St Marque Inlets leading natural gas retailer and one of the largest energy suppliers in the Nation ... The area where the brown and green buildings are will be redeveloped into a much larger building.. this is the site that the Alicante Gas Co has bought for it's new, soon to be built HQ...

Now for a special treat .... Here is the latest addition to the Royal Alicante Hotels and Resorts group ... The Terrazzi Hotel, Alicante City...

I hope you enjoyed this huge update...after all it has been awhile since I last updated ...so you guys deserve it ...

First I thought what the hell is he making with that poor, sweet station.

But then I scrolled down and:

The new station looks beautiful. It's style fits perfectly into the city though I wonder who Santa Pola was/ is / will be.

The Sebaden Hotel fity, like the station, perfectly into the city and especially into that place like the highrise to the right does.

But I can't say whether I could enjoy having a vacancy there that close to a courthouse =)

Might be a bit loud on day if an evil person tried to flee =)

But still awesome work!

I can't wait how the Bixel Apartments will look when its finished!

I'm not sure wich building you mean with "Alicante Gas Co." 

But I think you mean the small, brown one in the image center.

The building looks really nice but maybe a highrise would be better! ?

The Terrazi Hotel is just awesome. I really wonder where you get such great BATs from

And like always it looks perfectly where it stands. 

DIrectly located at this cross roads gives it a special touch.

Looks better there than between two other skyscrapers for sure!

Also that Court House is a museum now, as shown on the last page or two...

Oh my, fantastic work!

The rebuilding of the station was a great visual. (I was right - somthing Japanese - is it Kamegure? I can only just make out the sign), but I particularly like the demolition of the avenue and turning it into a square (well apex really). 

It looks beautifully balanced with the statues and trees!

And, I have to say it - I love the folly of those construction lots (even though I've never used them becuase of a full plug-ins folder) it really does fit the bill for "the stay tuned for next update!"

I really like these updates, these developements. My favourite is still the 26-piece housing area. And of course I am still wondering what's your technique to make 'em grow in this big number.

In one of my cities I created 100,000 I-D workplace and then 50,000 of 'em were filled up in the next months by growing Grynder Apartments. (I gonna show those in my future coming CJ, maybe after the school finished.)

Your great plaza in front of Santa Pola Station started me thinking about functional avenue/plaza spaces that would carry traffic in all directions but still provide the effect you achieved.

This is the best I've come up with so far.

I sure wish the NAM Gods would give us some new puzzle pieces to play with.

This is really a nice CJ.  High quality pics, well laid-out urban areas, and a story to tell about the development of a city.

Yes the Terrazzi is growable only ... zone it on a 5wide by 3 deep high density res and it will grow for sure. bokrif ... hehe .. it's called determination. Make sure you use 1x1 flower beds for demand cap relief, ample public transport, nearby commercial and health, education, police and fire. Other than that ... try to get the demand there with the help of land value increasing landmarks or lots. I look forward to seeing those apartments.
