simply awesome all these last updates.

1 - That huge housing project is amazing.

2 - The enlargement of the station close to the univestity is very smart and well done.

3 - Very nice towers on that dense area and the stream beside it is just awesome.

Welcome to Page 10

Wow! The angles in which you put the buildings really helps in establishing an almost-3D setting! Can't wait to see what becomes of the HK Central Building (I think that's what it's called, if I'm wrong correct me, please).

Fox -

Fantastic updates! Really beautiful job with layout and placement of parks, etc. And that river with those rapids!!! So beautiful. (I just spent like 20 minutes searching for it but with no luck - on on STEX and at Peg's site. )

Really great job all around! Love all those highrises and that waterfront development looks really first rate.

This is definately an impressive collection of highrises put together in a very attarctive layout I must commit!

Great work with all those MM trees, too, that make the point on the "i"!!!

One question: that nice stream - where did you find it?

metasmurf ... Glad you have decided to have a look... As I said in the update, I found them over at PEGs site while looking for new things to use in my Cities.. Although it has now disapeared, so I can only hope that they are in the testing stages atm, and will be released soon.

CDI_spy ... Thanks for commenting and posting here and elsewhere... I appreciate the effort and dedication you have to commenting in others CJs.

gerAndi ... LOL... Lego ... I'm sure he's happy about that comment ...lol. Once again, thanks for commenting, I appreciate your effort. Yes that is right, this is South CBD of Alicante City, where as the other pictures earlier were the North CBD Alicante City. LOL about the electricity ... just for you, they only turn them on when they know a picture is going to be taken. 3.gif

Goin2Chicago ... Thanks for noticing... I have about 90% grown buildings in my City .. I hate plopping and not to mention, find it hard to find time to plop them when I spend all my time placing trees and taking pictures of growing buildings ....lol.

TomasAH ... Thanks for leaving a comment ... I appreciate all the support.

Leech10 ... Thanks fellow SCJU member ... More are on the way soon...

Yoman3 ... Thanks for both your comments my friend. You can find those waterfront lots here ... Waterfront Walk kit by riptide ... you'll need all the dependencies though ...  Good luck. Those apartments near the Bixel Apartments are also by Bixel .. there are two separate packs for them... you can find them under Bixel on the Stex, I have spruced up the lots a  little though to suit my own style. My pleasure about the HQ and the hotel ... I hope to have the information up when I find time.

Pixelrage ... lol... it is indeed a very interesting building, very unique. But it does actually exist in Real Life ... Clicky ... On the right of this picture here.

    CarmineHilton ... As above ^

KoolSIM ... Thanks for such an inspiring comment .. unlike the last one. I appreciate the time it took to post it. Glad you came back too ...hehe

mattb325 ... Bingo... spot on. The way to get the tall buildings is to create a high traffic flow past them... by having a grid style layout, not that you can really see it in game, you have commercial on the outside and fill the middle with residential... you get that filled in effect, plus the high traffic flow to create strong demand for tall skyscrapers. As much as I would like to take the credit for the placement of the Paulvmontfort building, it was quite by accident I can assure you. Once I noticed it get to a certain level, I realised I had something special there that was perfect. Thanks for the great compliments and comments though.

GaBoR ... Thanks for the comments.. I look forward to reading what you have to say after the next comment.

uncrazycooper13 ... Thanks... I'm glad you tok the time to look over it all. The transport layout looks funky from Regional view as well ... I will post one soon.

sloppet ... Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. I appreciate your constant dedication to posting here.

JoeMeister ... Thanks... sorry about the wait, but glad you did enjoy them. About your questions ..  Yes it is growable, but I'm yet to get them to grow, it is probably a demand issue for me, not being able to get high enough demand for it. It is on the Stex under Paulvmontfort name .. it is called HK Central Plaza ... Hope this helps you out.

owenluby ... Thanks for leaving a great comment like that .. I really appreciate detailed comments that keep me thinking about improvments... And yes that tower is growable, but I haven't been able to get it to grow yet, unfortunately.

Fabiocb ...  1). Thanks for the comments 2). Thanks for the compliments 3). Thanks for dropping by and posting and commenting .. glad you liked the last few updates .. hehe. Thanks for the welcome to page 10 too ... wow... page 10 already.

SpecialEddie ... Such a great comment .. I really appreciate the when people take note of the seemingly coincidental effects of gaming. I'm thinking of making it into one St Marque Inlets HQ... I'm not sure yet ... but I was thinking Marque Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering HQ in Alicante City ... Still working on the details though...

kant01 ... Thankyou for dropping by and leaving a comment ... Bad luck in your search, but I hope they aren't too far away from release.

Nardo69 ... Thanks for the compliments. I love preplanning every detail of my Cities to include greenery where ever I can. As I said earlier, I found them over at PEGs site while looking for new things to use in my Cities.. Although it has now disapeared, so I can only hope that they are in the testing stages atm, and will be released soon.

aleking ... Thanks ... it's an honour to have you post here... I appreciate the support. (eyes trixies in alekings profile) 3.gif

Well no update this time round sorry guys and gals... But I do have a preview of what is to come, to keep you interested and coming back ..

This is on loan from a good friend and a great batter ... this is the Beta version I am testing ingame... Hope you guys will get the pleasure of having it released publicly soon...

anyone else think its funny how they call it madison square garden when the building is round?

anyways, its funny, when i saw it at first i was thinking, darn its too small, then i looked at the avenue in relation to the building and then realized that the tower next to it was just huge. It seems to be a good scale for a arean.

    just curious, who's making it?

Hamster TK I used to think the same thing!

Fox- yes they are proposing to tear it down and build a new center over the west side rail yards and put something else where it is now. This is all part of the west side development project. Maybe you could google it or somthing and youed find out alot more!

sloppet ... Thanks for the comment ... seems I can't disguise it well  hey ...lol, It's too recognisable still.

owenluby ... Thanks ... thanks got to the batter as well, so talented and I value his friendship and trust in loaning it to me.

szarkoz ... Thanks for stopping by to comment.

CDI_spy ... Glad you enjoyed being teased with it.

GaBoR ... Thanks for the comment.. I look forward to the final version too.

GMT ... Thanks ... more is here right below.

Goin2Chicago ... Glad to see such a detailed comment over one picture... thanks for thinking about it.

hamsterTK ... Thanks for both comments buddy ... Yeah I know.. square? hmmm ... It's being made by my friend called andisart ... He's on holidays atm.. but hopefully he'll get time to complete it once he returns.

mightygoose ... Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

SpecialEddie ... Lol .. It's pays to wait ... all good things come to those that wait.

Yoman3 ... That will be such a sad day indeed. I hope they decide to leave it and perhaps convert it into a museun or something else that can make use of such a great building.

Now .. On with the update !

Well as stated last time .. I said you'd have to wait for the final pictures of the completed Alicante Gas Co HQ ... and here they are....

    Alicante%20Gas%20Co%20Logo.JPG

    Alicante%20Gas%20Co%20AC%2003.jpg

    Alicante%20Gas%20Co%20AC%2002.jpg

    Alicante%20Gas%20Co%20AC%2001.jpg

Next up .. in the Southern part of the CBD of Alicante City, the Government has signed a proposal to turn a Government owned area into a new Financial district, with plans for a new Arena, called Alicante Stadium ...

One of the first tenents to buy land and start construction in the Marque Electronic Corporation. Their new HQ is a new glass office building that stands on the Southern tip of the new Financial District. I had to actually make a growable version for it, as it was only ploppable previously.

    Marque%20Electronics%20AC%2002.jpg

    Marque%20Electronics%20AC%2003.jpg

Now... as stated, the center of this area there will be the new Alicante Stadium ... Here's the project site, and the comencement of construction ... you'll recognise the site from the teaser in my last update ...

    Alicante%20Stadium%20AC%2001.jpg

    Alicante%20Stadium%20AC%2002.jpg

Sorry ... but you'll have to wait till next time to see the continuation .. hehe.

Moving along ... here is a real attractive picture .. The Alicante Station, located next to the new Financial District is going to get a face lift so it matches the rest of the modernisation of the area. Not only is it an important part of the North-South transport line, it will also serve as a cheap and effective way to get to the new Alicante Stadium. I'll show you what I do to the site in the next update ... after I decide what to do ...lol

    Alicante%20Station%20AC%2001.jpg

Now .. for more teasers ... Here is the start of construction on the Bank of America Regional HQ to be located here in Alicante City. It is in the North part of the CBD. You'll get to see it fully built in the next update if I get time ...

    BoFA%20AC%2001.jpg

    BoFA%20AC%2002.jpg

And last but not least ... here is the new HQ for the Marque Oil Industries... More on this story later on ...

    Marque%20Oil%20Industries%20AC%2002.jpg

That's it for now I'm affraid ... I hope you enjoyed this update.

Nice update and about the Madison Sq. Garden. Most newyorkers dont like it. I dont either. To build it they tore down one of the most beautiful stations ever! What they are going to put there I forget but it is going ot be very pleaseing to New Yorkers. They are going to build the new center over the ulgy railyeards so thats good. Now about the update. Very nice work. I like how you are showing the construction of a new stadium. The Gas co looks great. Maybe show a region pic soon?

Great updates...I've been away awhile, but I'm glad to see that you've been making progress on your cj. The Madison Square Garden bat is awsome...how big is it? It looks like about a 5x5 or so. Keep up the great work.

    Ahhh I see

    tha Alicantes are vain

by the way the thing with the lego wasn't meant bad. I love lego lol

    But again

    a glarious and enormous update

    Ai 'La:v i't 9.gif

The Alicante Gas thing looks great there where it deffently is and it shouldn't move.. would be better fo the building

And the electronic HQ looks awesome, too.

somehow all the buildings in your cities looks like they were ploped because they fit super into the different bouroughs though they all of them did grow

I can't wait to see how the alicante stadium will look like

I really did like the stadiums you built in your SMI CJ

and the station.. don't you think it feels lonely 2.gif is the only building in an area of maybe 1000 km² 9.gif poor station. I'm quite sure it's sad lol..

    forget the last sentence..

    the bofa is just.. WOW

I love the building (on that point I would like to advertise the things I said over plopping and growing and all together)

but now the oil buildings.. sorry. but I really don't know which buildings are meant

did you mean the building which are in building yet?

or did you mean the two simelar buildings or the other two ones behind the other ones.. wierd one.

would be happy when you could tell me next time Lol

    aNdi :1000 thumps up:
