I think it might be the little river, it's got like gravel and boulders flowing through it, I might be wrong. Anyways, good update as usual and I love what you did with the Terrazzi and the train station from one of the previous updates.

EDIT: Oh I didn't realise this was page 9 5.gif

If someone asks me to describe this CJ in one word, my answer would be 'Fantabulous'. Hey, wait a minute. Isn't 'fantabulous' actually two wonderful words combined into one???..4.gif

Superb Job!!! I love your CJ. I am posting here for the first time. And I am sure I am going to post often from now on.....

Oh Fox, thankyou and rest assured so long as I have eyes to lurk and an internet connection to facilitate lurking and a keyboard to register the lurking, I shall post here.

This CJ inspires me to try new things in my own building style. For instance, those new streams look fantastic and fill a gap where Pegs' were static (save the waterfalls); his give the indication of movement...but most of all I love how you fork the avenues at 45 degrees from the main one. It really looks impressive!

I really like the little circular lots you have in front of Paulvmontforts' building...a nice change from fountains or sculputres!

SpecialEddie ... Thanks for stopping by and commenting my friend .. I apreciate your enthusiasm.

Leech10 ... Yes Leech... no that is just the LODs of the building, that determines the scafforlding, but the building itself is actually roughly 4x4 tiles.

Mikeaut1 ... Thanks for such a great coment.

Jerebannus XVI ... Hmm... not sure what you are refering to there... Thanks for the rest of the comments... and thanks for the great welcome to page 9.

paulvmontfort ... Always a pleasure to see you posting here... Thanks for producing some great bats, and best of luck with future ones.

GMT ... Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment.

seemurray2 ... Thanks you. I apprecaite your kind words. Glad you like the pictures.

KoolSIM ... YAY ... a Fox CJ newbie ... glad to have you onboard. Don't forget to check out my last CJ too if you are interested, the link is in my signature under St Marque Inlet. I apprecaite your Fantabulous comment too, and I look forward to hearing from you again.

JoeMeister ... Wow ... and the great replies just keep coming. Thank you also for such a nice comment..not long till next update ... now breathe...

Yoman3 ... Nps... thanks for another comment ..hehe.

owenluby ... Thanks. I'm really glad you like how I present my pictures. It's not hard to enhance them just that little bit to get the extra detailed effect. The borders also help to draw the eye to the pictures...

gerAndi ... LOL.. you're a nutter... but I can't complain, cause I love you that way. Thanks for posting once again my friend. I hope that you update your CJ too soon...

Wolf_pt ... Hey... I just heard that on the news... I thought we would lose for sure... glad we won. WooHoo! Thanks for the comment too.

GaBoR ... Thanks for dropping by.. that river is actually a new set of lots that were created by one of the talented BSC folks I believe. I think it is only avaliable from the PEG site. I saw it there once, but now I can't locate it...sorry I can't be any more helpful. I guess you will have to wait till they are fully released.

mattb325 ... Haha ... good to hear. I really love comments lile yours that point out specific issues and stuff... so I can work on those more, or I know what is making people actually sit up and think... WOW ... About those little lots.. something I whipped up useing the CP flora, the trees just haven't had time to pop up yet.... here's a few pictures of them as they should look... They change with the seasons.

Picture One Seen in Spring!   Picture Two Seen in Autumn!

Now on with the update... I owe you guys some pictures I guess..

First up... here is the Bixel Apartments .... As seen under construction last page...
    Bixel%20Apartments%20AC%2001.jpg

And see here completed ... Unfortunately I had to plop this one, as I am yet to get it to grow ...although I a still trying.

    Bixel%20Apartments%20AC%2004.jpg

    Bixel%20Apartments%20AC%2006a.jpg
    Bixel%20Apartments%20AC%2006b.jpg

Next up ... that Alicante Gas Co new HQ ... Here it is under construction ...
    Alicante%20Gas%20Co%20AC%2005.jpg

    Alicante%20Gas%20Co%20AC%2004.jpg

You'll have to wait till next time to see it completed....

Now... on to that Paulvmontfort Center ... Most people don't recognise it, becasue they have never managed to get it to grow... with 5700+ co$$$ jobs, very few people get the demand. I actually managed to get more than one of these growing at one time... which I promptly demolished, and set about creating a few new 5x5 lots to add a little variety.
    paulvmontfort%20Center%20AC%20011.jpg

Now here is it further along under construction. The LODs (GMAX) are what actually determines the size of the scaffolding...and since it is set to quite small... it doesn't actually represent the size of the actual building ... It still looks pretty awesome to me though....
    paulvmontfort%20Center%20AC%2002a.jpg
    paulvmontfort%20Center%20AC%2002b.jpg

And here is it fully grown and in al it's glory ... I still have yet to decide what function it will serve... probably St Marque Inlets largest advertiseing corporation will be in main tenant... who knows...
    paulvmontfort%20Center%20AC%2003a.jpg
    paulvmontfort%20Center%20AC%2003b.jpg

    paulvmontfort%20Center%20AC%2004a.jpg
    paulvmontfort%20Center%20AC%2004b.jpg

    paulvmontfort%20Center%20AC%2005a.jpg
    paulvmontfort%20Center%20AC%2005b.jpg

    paulvmontfort%20Center%20AC%2006a.jpg
    paulvmontfort%20Center%20AC%2006b.jpg

Hope that doesn't affect too many dial up folks... it's a lot of pictures and a lot of k to download... but I hope it is all worth it ...

Thanks again for all the comments ...

    Enjoy!

Brilliant. I could never get enough demand to grow Bixels apartments even if I tried, so I understand your needing to plop the thing. But my, what a well chosen location on the waterfront walk. It looks as if the two were made for each other!

Now, Paulvmontfort is a very accomplished batter, and this building is definitely brilliant. You are of course right, this is probably the only place I will ever see it grow, so thankyou for showing this!

But I must say that where you've managed to get this building to grow is a tribute too. I've said it before, but again, to be able to know the game so well that an angled zone on that particular avenue junction, when zoned, will grow an angled building suited exactly to that spot, is very accomplished, so kudos to you!

Also, what makes your commercial zones very viewable is something that you don't see too often...you zone medium & high density residentials in between the commercials: all this makes for a very lively downtown district, but still allows for space between the 'scrapers....

It was quite a long wait for al the pics to show up... but it was definetly worth it!

I got some Q's, hopefully you got some A's:

    1. Your 'bixel' tower, that's HK Arch 1 right? from bixel? I love that building but I can't get it to grow either (okay this was not really a Q)...
    2. The tower in the last 4 something pics what's it's name on the STEX? I can't seem to find it 8.gif...
