Dune by Frank Herbert, After finishing the fairly conversational and frenetic Catch 22 by Heller, it was a refreshing break to have a slower, more thoughtful prose. Each scene is told by overlapping internal monologues, so you can really vividly picture the unfolding events. Smart, well paced, and not overloaded with exposition. 270 pages in, so far a solid 8/10

Frankly if you want to run with no standard models you are not going to come in less than about 4GB without unbearable repetition.
