After the success of
I present you the ultimate way to play SimCity 4, play it in real life. Yes, you heard it right. Real life! This is a mod that enables you to play SC4 in real life without any assistance such as VR headset, hologram, or play cardboards. With this mod, you can literally rule regions as a mayor, a king, a president, or whatever you like, without even leaving your seat. You can literally change your surrounding terrain with your own finger, much like Greek gods. You can zone RCI and literally plopping network and buildings as you like with your own finger. You can feel the luxury offered by the mansion with your own sense.
To install this incredible mod, just drop the mod in your Documents Plugin folder. Then, launch the SC4. Instead opening in your computer, the game will be launched in real life. There will be paperworks, a pen, etc. Use those items as you would in real life. You also have magical inner abilities possessed by your body regarding terraforming and mayoral tasks. Interact those abilities with your own brain and the respective part of your body. For instance, if you want to raise the terrain, think you're gonna terraform and use your finger to do so. Another instance is if you want to hear the voice of your sims from far distance, think you're gonna do so and listen to the voice using your ears.
Be warned though, there are some quirks:
- The stress of being a mayor will be felt by you in real life. Be prepared. If not, don't worry. Delegate those tasks to your advisors by literally speaking to them.
- The consequence of your action is literally instant. For instance, if you don't supply the population with enough water, the population will instantly thirsty and the machines that on water won't function immediately. Beware of this by thinking twice. Again, if you don't wish to do so yourself, you can delegate the task to your advisors.
- You'll be rich in real life. You can enjoy the glamourous life of rich politician and let your advisors running the government. But if you wish to override your advisors' decision, you can.
- Never ever to remove the mod. You will lose control of your region and there will be real life consequence. For instance, your citizens will protest on you if you lost control over the city water. Not only that, you'll lose your abilities and that isn't a pleasant experience mentally. Consult with your expert and citizens if you really wish to remove the mods. Also, you'll lose your opulence immediately, including your silver spoon, for instance.
- You can run the "simulation" (or real life I guess) at any speed the game allows. Basically, you're the time god now.
- Any disaster you summon will affect your citizens in real life. Don't abuse your power. You're basically the disaster god.
- Always react to disaster quickly. If not, serious consequence will come. For instance, if you tolerate a fire spread, the affected citizens will lose lots of money and you'll be literally loaded by insurance claims. You're the protector of your citizens.
- Any type of pollution will affect your citizens. For instance if you have lots of water pollution, your citizens will be poisoned. Be prepared of real life transport of the poisoned to the hospital by ambulances.
- Similarly, any type of civic quality will affect your citizens. For instance if you can raise the city's EQ to 180, your citizens' intelligence is equivalent to the city EQ of 180. Always improve your citizen service.
- Your mayor rating will affect your position in the future, literally. If you have negative mayor rating, you'll be literally kicked out from the office. Always maintain your mayor rating preferably in positive ways, or if you're allied with Dr Vu, in negative ways.
