This department store has stood on Oxford Street, West London since the 1970's and is a dull, uninspired concrete monolithic structure. During 2013 the building was given an overhaul, but this BAT represents the original facade. Given London's peculiar and hap-hazard street arrangement, I have had to square the building off to make it usable in game. The change is most noticeable on the Marylebone Laneway side.
Debenhams has been trading since the late 1700's. The wares cater mostly to the cheaper spectrum of lower middle class goods and apparel, but more recently have attempted to lift their market appeal by including the 'Designers at Debenhams' ranges, which aim to bring high end fashion at high street prices. This building provides 1,199 jobs.
In game, this is presented as a CS§§ lot that grows on all tilesets and a CS§§ plop with jobs (both have identical stats).
