About This File

NAM v32 added a new approach to rail - Real Railway - which is has continued to evolve and is now essentiallly complete ate NAM42. RRW looks great, is very extensive, is usable and easy to convert to. This mod adds a few extras to the NAM set and offers support for things that can be expected to change over time or will always be outside the official NAM release.

Included are 16 NAM Viaduct skins, re-rendered Rail Tunnels and Crossings for all of my Streets as well as support for the SAM streets by MGB and Tarkus,  NAM FLUPS and a partially complete T21 set for both varieties of the plundere catenaries, which are a dependency if you use them)

The mod is packaged so that it is put into plugins exactly as it is in the zip (i.e.. Plugins/Z___RVT Modds/RVT zRUM for RRW) and you delete that which you do not use. Please refer to the readme.txt file included for more details. This explains also how to correctly Install the MGB Street Crossings.

NOTE 1: RRW is the default configuration for Rail in NAM (since NAM36). This Rail Upgrade Mod is intended for RRW.

NOTE 2: If you have previously installed the Original Rail Upgrade Mod but now use NAM RRW then the RUM should be completely uninstalled - these files take its place. The Original RUM is not compatible with RRW which is a completely different rail set.

This mod will not work with any version of NAM prior to NAMv32 but is complete for NAM42. RRW must be activated.

That's some great-looking overhead railway infrastructure. ***Now, the RRW is nice, but I have to take a star off because it's simply a misery to use unless the ground is at level or near level with gentle contouring. *** full five stars since this is for the addon stuff to RRW.

A must-have addition to the already astounding RRW network. The Dirty Brick and Stone textures are simply gorgeous, and go well alongside Paeng's sandstone textures. :D

Looks sharp - really like the "stone" viaduct (and proper number of rails)  :thumb:
