About This File

Here it is, the long awaited Sears Tower! An Architectural masterpeice culminating at 110 floors. Here it is for your Sims' enjoiment. It is the high quality render. I made the building 5X5 now instead of 6X6 to reduce the appearance that it was too chunky. Enjoy!

The picture of it for me came up as a red X, but thanks, I couldn't wait for this to come out!

Use ".jpg" or ".jpeg" format. Be sure to avoid "jpeg 2000" or "progressive jpeg". Plus, is the line pointed to the right directory? Be sure to check that.

Thanks all! I know I'm happy with how it came out. Also Captain Dirk I have the Empire State Building there for reference, being at 102 stories, it shouldnt be that much shorter than the 110 stories Sears Tower. I thought they were pretty good scale. Hope you all enjoy having this in your cities

Is it shorter then the CN Tower in real life it should be about 375ft shorter then the CN Tower. Good Job though, However the base could be a bit smaller.

Hmm, not to be discouraging, but there's something wrong with the proportions. The base is more slim than the width of ESB, the non-setback area rises to the first setback near the top of ESB, and generally the building is slimmer. check this out http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?5283642

This looks great, but it needs a little work. The thing is the ST is made up of nine "mini-towers". They're all the same width and breadth, some are just taller than others. The way the "mini-towers" making up the base are a little bigger than those further up...that shouldn't be.

RFK the problem is that there's more windows below the black seperators on some it's levels. The way I textured it is use one side texture and use "Face" mapping and made them all 6 sided then detactch roofs, so the taller one is more stretched the shorter second concourse looks a little crammed...

It isn't quite right proportionally (too squat)...as already discussed. Keep working on it--it will be perfect soon. And make a growable version, too!

Nicely done! I'm sure your Bat skills will only increase. Are their any stats? jobs? etc. Anywho, well done.
