  1. The UN Headquarters

Are those final textures? Because the texture of the small rectangular building next to the fountain looks bad, and there's no difference between the walls and roof.
  2. P Twin Towers

    Very realistic. Nice!
  3. NDEX Cardinal Airlines Tower by DuskTrooper

This is cool. It's like a Library Tower/ Cityspire mix. I don't know if the Cityspire resemblance was intentional, though. But it works well. And the detail = !!!

I have a small suggestion. Maybe the floors above the cutout, the ones that are 'hanging', should have some sort of support that connects them to the rest of the tower. Umm, that sounds wrong......this is hard to explain. Well, it kind of needs something to make it look like the floor about halfway up the tower, above the cutout, has something supporting it. 'ya know what i mean?

ooh. me likey a lot. I'd suggest changing the blue color to something darker and removing the reflection. And maybe increasing the amount of texture on the facade. know what i mean? as in, thicken up the steel beams a bit.

Hey, -nudge nudge- , what's that building that looks like the NY Times tower in the background left in that thar' picture?
  7. Poole, Diamond and Associates BAT Showcase

Did it just render it short and fat? Or is it the wrong building alltogether? I don't get it. Oh, and, whose model was it that you 'PDA'd' in the small blue building pic?
  8. Joergs BAT Showcase

Wow, what happened to joerg? He had this beauty all ready and waiting for us....but the last post was in June. I wonder.........another victim to Real Life Syndrome? so sad, so sad...

I agree with Dusk. the curvy part is great, but the amount of area taken up by the square, boring part is too large. I think you should either : (1) decrease the size of the 'boring' area, perhaps chopping an area of the tower vertically at an angle on the squared corner, or something exciting like that, or (2) keep going with that plus/minus idea on the 'boring' wall(where some areas stick out, while others stick in. you have a small one shown in the fourth screenshot).
  10. NDEX James Morgenn Center

Equinox is the God of Releasing BATs. :) Oh yeah, the rest of NDEX is great too ;)

mmmmmm, Geoff, tastes like residential building. Good job on a pleasing shape, and of course the detailed windows. On another note, jtportland is the man for creating 1 ITC. Yes, he certainly is. And what's this you say? There's to be a SECOND one? intruiging....

I love how PDA releases these great buildings, with only little fanfare, and no taunting beforehand. It seems so unassuming. It's a good quality to have jt, i liked the building with the antenna on the roof, i think the attatched one detracts from the buildings' great shape

Well, the proposal I was talking about was really obscure and only a 'vision' at skyscraperpage so I guess no one else has heard of it. Anyway, I'm liking the black idea, but only if it's done right. We'll have to see a preview.
  14. Project Taipei 101

I really love that you're releasing Taipei 21 to keep us restrained be kind while we're waiting for the big 'un to be finished. coolness it is, coolness.

I like the antenna. It's realistic for such a tall building to have one anyway, the majority of supertalls have antennae. I really like the design. It reminds me of that proposal from Philadelphia from a few years back, but I can't remember the name.....? Oh well, it's fantastic.
