About This File

Thelma the waitress calls you "honey," the cook hasn't washed his hands this week, and the busboys have never heard of hairnets, but that doesn't matter - for those customers who wouldn't be caught dead at Depiesse's, there's a new place in town.  Presenting Ed's Diner - serving blue plate specials 24 hours a day.  Eating at Ed's may put your stomach under some strain, but it won't strain your wallet.  Just overlook the grimey cutlery and that crack in your water glass - if you want fine dining, Mr. Fancy Pants, then move on down the road to the Cox Family Court.

This download contains two CS$$ stage 1 2x1 corner lots, with a total of 16 jobs.  No dependencies here - just down-home food and good conversation.  And an order of heartburn to go.

"Waitress, I think there's something moving in my mashed potatoes..."

Another new MadHatBat! Must be my birthday. Although I DO question the fact that it's C$$... surely a dinner like this doesn't make all that much money, does it? I'm thinking C$. A beautiful BAT regardless!

Nice job on this! You're small commercial BATs add a lot of great variety to the game!

Nothing like the chain-smoking, big haired, platinum blond, 3 inch pink nailed, 55 year old waitresses with chronic bronchitis that want nothing more in the world then to serve you coffee and call you "hun". Only REAL diners have those =P Again, wonderful job on this one!

Yeah, flop two, Noah's boy in the alley, whiskey down. (I'll have two eggs over easy, ham on the side, with rye toast. ;-) )

@benvoliothefirst: I would tend to agree with you, but this BAT was made to break the monotony caused by Maxis' Depiesse's Dinner, and that one was CS

This one looks just like one I used to hang out in when I was a kid. Surprisingly even the lot. Although you used to have to back up onto the train tracks. Hey didn't say they designed it well :) Thank you for sharing this!
