Last time I played ... I cannot remember which of my 2 displays. So, it was either 32"@1080p or 21"@1600x1200 ... Zoomed out everything was crisp. I recall the max zoom in was very pixelated. Is there now an option to download some form of HD replacement art set for the basic game which improves on this zoom level? Thanks! BTW, OTTD has something like this which improves the general appearance.

Hi Folx. Don´t know where to put this SC3K related post in the forum. Thats why I try it here. I want to share a little app (AutoHotkeyScript compiled as binary) which makes it possible to use the Mousewheel for zoom in and zoom out. Simply start it (a green "H" appears in your Traybar) and play the game. Thats it. That is in the app: WheelUp:: if WinActive("SimCity 3000"){ send, {NumpadAdd} return } else { send, {WheelUp} return } WheelDown:: if WinActive("SimCity 3000"){ send, {NumpadSub} return } else { send, {WheelDown} return } SC3K WheelZoom.zip

I've recently been working on a lot of relots of some of the lots in the Italian Collection by simcity4ever88. While doing this, like already mentioned in the "Show us what you're working on" thread, I discovered a weird graphical issue affecting two props I was dealing with: This issue only appears on zoom level 3. With the encircled building on the right, even only on 2 rotations. @matias93 already told me to replace the damaged FSH with re-scaled images (this is what he said, exactly). Thank you for the answer. I've looked into the files with Reader. The only thing I found was that all the FSH and S3D files look fine in Reader. Only in the LE and in the game they look weird. The only thing I've noticed that looked different was the fact that on zoom level 3 the FSH files were squares, while on zoom levels 2, 4, and 5, they were rectangles, with the height about double the length than the width (on zoom level, the FSH files were again squares, but with additional black empty space to the right and the bottom). Does this mean anything? Any help would be welcome, especially since I actually don't know how to do what matias93 suggested (or do anything else, if necessary). Unfortunately, I'm no graphics expert, I only can do some basics (I can make my own menu icons, and I can use SC4Tool to import PNG as FSH's, but that's it, literally). If you want to look into the affected files on your own: At the top of this post, there's a link to the Italian Collection. The affected files are: Palazzine con negozi 4 45-0x5ad0e817_0x15fb9af0_0x4020000.SC4Model Palazzo con portico di marmo-0x5ad0e817_0x15fb9af0_0x3030000.SC4Model The prop names are the same as the file names.

In the mood for another report? Hope so, as this one cames along a line never explorated due to the inevitable (and so complicated) technical issues, anyway, nothing that some patience, planning and action can't deal with. As for today de SMNT (a.k.a. Saint Maj North Transport) presents us the second deal around it's anual report with never seen images and analysis: our dear Capital sorts out into the eye of our SMNT. What would it be? We'll we hope you can't guess. Tarrë, the capital city of our nation has just reached the one hundred and sixty habitants mark, solely in it's core, as the western and southeast districts (Kar Herne & Renet, respectively) show an important growth. Today we leave you once more with the CEO of the SMNT, our ex-senator Mr. Hillcrest: "Dear Tarrëans, just this section of this analytics program we've just launched five years ago has turn out to be a core for the next years towards our capital plans. We've conceiled the information in three main maps: avenue map, TRAMsit map and IntraUrban Rail Map. The first one reveals the enormous growth of the city, filled with main avenues as best as the space permits, all along you may notice, the city almost ate everything and with its compactness, it won't allow new avenues, so the solution in results in a double lane road as in the downtown Tarrë. The TRAMsit map just overlaps the first and its importance allocates (as the IntraUrban Rail map) in its integration with the avenue and road systems. The compactness of the city as you may think leaves us with so little space to develop that commplicated infrastructure. With the TRAMsit the solution tends to be towards its specilization, by which I mean, the street working only for trams. The issue with the IUR (a.k.a IntraUrban Rail) is it's obvious necessity of space. Our engineers manage years ago to develop the main line with excessive possibilities as the city wasn't spread, but as the city grew that space shrinks. The result is a compact and almost completely underground system with only nine stations, including the main two: the renamed Saint Maj Central (C, in the map) and the Abyss Station, just in front, receiving western lines (2, in the map). You may notice that the main purpose of the rail was to connect the western industrial zone to the downtown, as for today that necessity is the main as the inter- urban rail connections to other cities. Anyhow, this is just a bit of the complex transport system we are guardians of. Take care, and hope for the best." Mr. Hilcrest. Head of the SMNT Conseil. ¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨ ¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨ Finally, a zoom 3 or 4 of our capital! ¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨

Hello I'm pretty new to this but I have a overhanging lot that has an invisible building and 1 prop. (the prop being the main piece.) You can see here the lot is fine:Note that the lot is 1x1 and I just placed 9 next to each other. The tracks aren't part of the lot either. However if I zoom in an further I get this: I should also say that if my texture are medium or lower, this problem doesn't exist . Any help is appreciated thank you.

Stretched texture invisible at certain angle or zoomed in
xonedl posted a topic in Cities: Skylines Technical Help Q&A
I'm trying to make turning lane / exit ramp in realistic fashion - which means low angle and proper distance following measurements from real world intersections. While the result looks fine when zoomed out, the road texture went invisible (blue) when zoomed in at certain angle, which makes detailing works rather annoying. Segments as following picture. I dunno how other people do it, but upon my own trial and error, I find that have all segments at the same length will eliminate the problem of tarmac going crazy, although still need to wiggle it a bit. The following picture shows it went blue (invisible). Any clue how I can deal with this problem, or is there better way of creating / aligning these segments? //-- Also there appear to be some weird behavior, where bums & holes suddenly appear on some of the nodes when I moving things with MoveIt nearby, I had to select everything and re-level with MoveIt to get them back to normal often. Guess I really breaking the game here...- 3 Replies

I've encountered an odd crashing issue with one of my cities. It seems to crash at one zoom level only, the default one get when you save too zoomed in (second closest one?) and load the city. So as soon as I load the city, I have less than 1 second to either zoom in or out before it crashes (gotta be an eagle eye!). I have tried saving at these zoom levels to remedy the issue but it does not help. Any possible ideas what might be causing this? NOTE: This city was infected by prop pox, but was fixed by @simmaster07's patch. This only started occurring when I did additional work in the city. It worked fine for a time since I installed that patch and when the crashing occurred. Any suggestions welcome! Thanks in advance! I am running Windows 7 64 bit. Just one city is affected. Exception report below if it helps. -----
