  1. I can't figure out how to get rail up to elevated rail. I know you can piece together viaduct rail and I've done that, but it's not compatible with "elevated rail", and what a pain. How to easily go from rail on the ground to rail in the air? There's probably an easy way I just missed.

    Is there a way to change the colors in the data view? I've wanted more drastic differences between the low/mid/high values of the green, blue, and yellows of RCI lots. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between low and med density.

    RHW vs Maxis Highway. If Maxis Hwy is getting it done, is there any reason to use RHW? Sometimes you just don't need special ramps. Are the capacities/costs the same? One thing I haven't done yet is make a 6 or 8 lane highway - that'll be useful in one of my cities.

    CAM vs irm I'd like to install both, but have read IRM isn't CAMpatible. then I thought I saw something saying it is with a separate download? Anyone have a definitive answer?

    FYI: I installed it this eve and had a problem. I guess I didn't have Java installed. Would be nice if the installer would let you know if it can't find java. It would run the patch and just quit with no message why. Luckily, I read the batch file and saw what it was trying to do.... I installed Java. After installing Java, the NAM install still didn't work!! I guess installing Java doesn't set the JAVA_HOME environment variable. <rolleyes> It's installed now. Just wanted to let you know a weird case for reference.

    What are the max building sizes? The biggest I can zone with road access is 6x6 at the beginning of the game, then Commercial sometimes will allow a 4 deep lot, so 8x8, but is there a building that's 8x8??

    Can you build a tunnel across water? I think I've seen that before, but couldn't seem to do it yesterday. Tips?
  11. AHA!!! Thank you! I figured it out. All the Maxis DLC Landmarks are in their own folder named "Maxis-DLC-Landmarks" in the Documents plugins folder. I renamed my AllinOne file zAllinOne so it was listed at the end of the list inside that folder and BOOM! It worked!

    That's cool! Is there any benefit to them, or are they just visual candy? Do animals affect anything in-game?
  14. I installed the Functional Landmarks mod and noticed some of the landmarks still don't show any jobs. I click on a landmark and on some it just shows the monthly cost instead of the jobs created/available dialog. I tested all the ones in my list and the following have no job data shown on query: I even renamed the list z_AllinOne.dat (with the 'z' in front) to help it load last just in case. Is there a fault with the file, or is the dialog wrong? What's going on here? Any ideas?
  15. this may not be the place for this, but a few city tiles in the region I just created with Terraformer are blank. I can click on them and the city loads, but in the region view that square is just blue - like it's ocean. I reloaded it in Terraformer and everything shows properly. I loaded it in Mapper, and everything looks good. Help?
