The process was named after the French microbiologist, Louis Pasteur, whose research in the 1860s demonstrated that thermal processing would deactivate unwanted microorganisms in wine. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pasteurization Synthetic Protein Cultured meat is a meat produced by in vitro cell cultures of animal cells. It is a form of cellular agriculture, with such agricultural methods being explored in the context of increased consumer demand for protein. Cultured meat may have the potential to address substantial global problems of the environmental impact of meat production, animal welfare, food security and human health. Specifically, it can be thought of in the context of the mitigation of climate change. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultured_meat ______________________________________________- 2 Comments

Here is a litle modification for the vanilla radio station. I changed the wrong light and removed the effect at the top. I added some props, changed the overlay textures and deleted the parking. Hope you enjoy it! Installation: Just put the bat file in Plugins The next Reward that I will modify will be the TV Station. I found out that this one have the same wrong light like the vanilla Radio Station. As you can see, I have a light mod installed. The name of the mod is Day and Nite or something like that and it was created by SimFox .The installation is the same, like this mod.- 2 Reviews

AWA Tower Radio Station, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- The Amalgamated Wireless Australasia (AWA) Tower in Sydney is a heritage listed art-deco building constructed between 1937-1939. Up until 1962, this was the tallest structure in Sydney. That mantle was subsequently removed by Sydney's AMP tower at circular quay (which I have also batted). I have made this building to serve as a downtown radio station. It is also suited to W2W environments. Like the ingame Radio Station this lot is basically used as a cap buster; it increases desirability, mayor rating and also substantially lifts the demand cap for R$$, CO$$ and Manufacturing jobs (90,000 in each category). Given how most of the industrial/commercial and residential custom content available leans towards mid-wealth assets, these caps are usually hit fairly early, so placing the radio station in each city tile will assist in ensuring there is still regional demand for IM jobs. This reward lot is offered without the need to satisfy pre-existing conditions, can be plopped more than once in a city, and, most importantly DOES NOT over-write the ingame radio station. This lot has the additional benefits of having 665 desirable civic jobs in all categories, it provides both park and landmark effects (increasing desirability of residential and commercial zones). It is in the REWARD menu and requires power, water and road access. STATS: --------------------------------------- Plop Cost: $0 Bulldoze Cost: $150,000 Demand Created: R$ 25; R$$ 600; R$$$ 40 Demand Satisfied: R$$ 90,000; I-M Jobs 90,000; CO$$ 90,000 Pollution: 20 (Air)/ 14 (Water)/ 43 (Garbage ) Pollution Radius: 3/4/0 Power Consumed: 121 Mwh Water Consumed: 90 Gallons Landmark Effect: 85 over 30 tiles Park Effect: 20 over 30 tiles Monthly Cost: $0 DEPENDENCIES: --------------------------------------- There are no dependencies required. --------------------------------------- NOTE ABOUT DARK NITE vs MAXIS NITE: There are two model files in this download. You must select the appropriate file from the download. The file suffixed with 'DN' is for those users with a night-time darkening mod installed. The file suffixed with 'MN' is for users who do not have any such mods installed. If you are unsure whether you have a night-darkening mod installed, then choose the Maxis night version. If you use the dark nite version, you will need a dark nite mod. (http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/23089-simfox-day-and-nite-modd/) --------------------------------------- To install, simply unzip the file into your plugins folder.- 3 Comments

● Combines Maxis City College and Radio Station Reward, transmits on KSIM frequency at 1420.5 MHz. ● Student Capacity: 7,200. Monthly Cost §1,000. Plop Cost: §900. Landmark Effect: 25 over 20. ● School EQ Boost: 38, Mayor Rating Effect: 50 over 440. Network and Transit enabled. ● Inspired by the 'school of radio station 1' by 'people of NYC' Immediate mass communication began at the beginning of the 20th century with radio; generations since are the children of the "school of radio station". I was thinking of Pablo Picasso, arranging the Maxis props like a cubist. It is claimed that when he first viewed the pre-historic cave paintings in Lascaux, France he said, "We've done nothing better since". The KSIM frequency at 1420.5 MHz refers to the Wow! signal received from interstellar space Aug. 15, 1977. Dependencies: None Install: User Documents SimCity 4 Plugins Copy and Paste the unzipped *title* folder into *user*\Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins. Delete readme and preview files. Menu icons will appear in-game for the associated lots.- 1 Review

sim city 4 questions Many Sim City 4 Questions
greener07 posted a topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Hello, OK, Instead of asking or creating separate or new threads each & every time, I decided to create a many question thread. 1) How to take image or snap of a city easily and quickly? Right now I just press print screen button and then close the game and then paste it in MS paint... What are those cameras for? Can I easily take snaps of my city and save them directly in my desktop? 2) How to click and see which density a building is? Right now after the building is made, I just keep hovering over it and if by chance the density comes up then I see it... Any sure shot method to know the density after its built? 3) How to find the EQ & HQ of a city? 4) What are the lot size both for R and C that allows high rises to come up? That's all for now. Thank you- 4 Replies

Radio Station, by Mattb325. Another civic reward lot with a twist. Like the ingame Radio Station this lot is basically used as a cap buster; it increases desirability, mayor rating and also substantially lifts the demand cap for R$$ and Manufacturing jobs. Given how most of the industrial custom content available leans towards the manufacturing genre, these caps are usually hit fairly early, so placing the radio station in each city tile will assist in ensuring there is still regional demand for IM jobs. The building was inspired by the Musick Point Padio Station in New Zealand which was built in the classic art deco style for use during WWII. It still stands today on a dramatically empty bluff looking out to sea. The accompanying Radio Mast pays homage to an early simpsons episode (the hover query should amuse Simpsons fans). This reward lot is offered without the need to satisfy pre-existing conditions, can be plopped more than once in a city, and, most importantly DOES NOT over-write the ingame radio station (meaning you can have both this radio station and the Maxis radio station co-exist in the same city if you wish). While this lot is modded consistently with in-game version, there is additional benefit of having 30 desirable R$$ civic jobs and therefore has a $20 monthly cost associated with it. It requires power, water and road access. STATS: Plop Cost: $36,700 Bulldoze Cost: $10,260 Demand Created: R$$ 30 Demand Satisfied: R$$ 9,000; I-M Jobs 9,000 Pollution: 4 (Air)/ 3 (Water)/ 11 (Garbage ) Pollution Radius: 1/2/0 Power Consumed: 150 Mwh Water Consumed: 90 Gallons Landmark Effect: 40 over 20 tiles Mayor Rating Effect: 8 over 440 tiles Monthly Cost: $20 DEPENDENCIES: (note you must be registered with, and logged into, the SC4Devotion Lex to download these) BSCBATPropsMattb325_Vol02.dat (http://sc4devotion.c...php?lotGET=2383) BSC MEGA Prop Pack CP Vol01 (http://sc4devotion.c...php?lotGET=1180) BSC MEGA Prop Pack CP Vol02 (http://sc4devotion.c...php?lotGET=2790) PEG Security Fences (http://community.sim...ty-fencing-kit/) To install, simply unzip the file into your plugins folder. Thankyou and enjoy.
