As the title says. I can't go after a desktop because I don't prefer them and I do need to bring my computer with me to many places. Here's the laptop: http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Blade-Touchscreen-Gaming-Laptop/dp/B00J06F4BK/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top So let me know if it's any good thanks. I don't mind the prices, so you can list any other laptops that you think are better.

Indeed I'm wanting to play Cities: Skylines but I have an aging system that might not quite meet Recommended Requirements so I'm looking for feedback on what kind of performance others are getting on their specs. I don't want to spend the money on the game right now if it means I'll need a spiffier computer to play it reasonably. Oh, and by reasonably I don't mean with the 25-tile mod, just be able to build some cities that probably won't even necessarily be huge but at the very least spread out on the default nine tiles. I bought this PC about four-and-a-half years ago but I have too many other financial obligations at the moment to justify the expense of a better machine. Of course I have Windows 7 64-bit. My processor is an AMD Phenom II quad-core, 3.4Ghz 8 gigs of RAM Graphics card is AMD Radeon 6450 with its own 4 gigs of RAM Thanks for answering!

So I have access to use a PC occasionally and I already installed Simcity on it. My multiplayer cities load up fine, but Im more interested in continuing my single-player on my PC. But my offline cities dont appear on my PC while they do on my Mac. I just thought of copying the Simcity folder from my Mac to my PC, but when I opened up the Simcity folder on my PC it looks different than on Mac and Im not sure if it will cause some issues if I copy/[aste it. Is there some way to copy and paste a specific region or regions like in SC4?

Hey guys, I picked up a macbook and looking to transfer sim city onto here from a PC. Would I be able to just drag and drop the original plugins folder? I don't want to have to re-download all my mods and plugins but I am worried that they may only configured for windows. Would it mess up the game? Can somebody let me know whats my best course of action? Thanks! Adam

Best PC for running SC4 w/ custom content?
Goin2Chicago posted a topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
Hi, All! I have a relatively simple question and I'm hoping the wonderful members of ST can provide some kind of help. This week, I just procured another copy of SC4. My intentions were to build my plugins folder slowly as I build cities, while also learning the art of lot editing to fill my maps with essentially all custom content (as we see so many members of ST do so masterfully). After loading it into my PC and downloading some of the basic plugins as a start (NAM, terrain mod, Mapper, maps, etc), I found that my PC is far too outdated for me to run this game with the intentions that I have. So how large of an upgrade would I have to make in order to smoothly operate SC4 with a deep plugin folder? I'm open to any suggestions, whether they be to simply upgrade my current system in some way or even if I should go as far as to buying a gaming computer. I just figured that the community who is always posting beautiful work filled with custom content must have an idea of the computing capacity necessary to the run the game in such a manner. I thank you all in advance for the help!
