1. LaVaughn Biotech

Awesome!
2. NYBT 605 Park Avenue

BEAUTIFUL!
3. Eyrene Apartments

Awesome! These make perfect NYC background buildings! Great details too!
4. Carew Tower

Wonderful!!! Is there any truth to the legend that Carew influenced the form of the Empire State Building? (They're very similar.) You'd think it would be the other way around (NYC's "ziggurat wedding cake" skyscrapers were influenced by that city's zoning laws and its skyscrapers eventually influenced the form of cities all over the world), but Carew predates the ESB by a couple of years.
5. Philadelphia City Hall

Awesome! Philly's city hall is adorned with hundreds of eclectic sculptures by Alexander Milne Calder and other (long since forgotten) sculptors. Wandering in and around the building is truly a feast for the eyes! Well done!
6. Row Houses

^Oh, and I'm surprised I overlooked these, but Spa also created several (wooden!) rowhouse sets from Halifax which definitely are different from NYC-style rowhouses.
7. Love the Concord Arms - it's really a great complement to Don Miguel's old Warren Arms! All your recent NYC apartment blocks have been fantastic, with great texturing and modeling. Looking forward to this one and many more!
8. mipro BSP Cadillac Tower

Fantastic!
9. Row Houses
I really like these. As I stated in your thread, there's truly not enough of them.To add to that, pretty much every rowhouse available for the game is heavily NYC inspired. That isn't a huge problem, but it will be nice to have something that seems a bit more neutral....my metro is primarily Midwestern, and could use some beauties like these. Thank you.
Yoshi, there have been some rowhouse sets that aren't so Manhattan-focused. I can't pull the links right now, but off the top of my head I recall that JBSimio did some rowhouses from the Midwest (Chicago?) and I think BSP/JasonCW did some Modern rowhouses suitable for any kind of city. Simgoober did some suburban-style townhouses as well as swell-fronts from Baltimore. Dom Miguel did some Brooklyn-style rowhouses a while ago too. Not to toot my own horn, but I did some porchfront Baltimore rowhouses as well as rowhouses from upstate New York a while back too. Search around for all of these (STEX and LEX) if you need rowhouses in a non-NYC style.
10. Row Houses

Wonderful! I can never get enough rowhouses for SC4! Just as in real life, this housing type can be endlessly modified and varied without ever getting boring.
11. NYBT Timpson PL Row

Excellent work! These are very beautiful; they definitely have that Bronx feel. Only thing I would change next time is maybe add a bit more roof junk.
12. Gaulargaten 15 w2w industrial

Very nice! W2W Industry!
13. Byron Building

Nice, we need more of these unobtrusive (but quietly elegant) commercial filler buildings!
14. mipro BSP Music Hall

Beautiful!
15. mipro BSP Ford Building

Jaw-dropping!
16. Wolverine's Hip-Hop Lounge

Ohmygod, it's so beautiful! I love all the little NY details- the light well, the rusticated facade accented with fire escapes, the skylight/penthouse, etc, etc! You're absolutely right- we need way more midrise blocks in SC4, and I'm thrilled to see another BATter working on them! Edit: And I think the detail that gives this BAT just the right amount of personality (without turning it into a flashy piece of starchitecture) is the subtle rounded corner.
17. NYBT Metropolitan Club

Well done! The details which you've faithfully recreated are just stunning! (Pretty much any McKim Mead & White building is stunning).
18. NYBT Seagram Building DarkNite version

Absolutely fantastic recreation! The nightlighting is top notch! Though I would like to counter Mies' "Less is more" maxim with Venturi's "Less is a bore!" ;-)
19. Queralt Hotel

Beautifully, beautifully done! Nice touch with the red canopies over the main entrance.
20. mipro BSP 211 West Fort Street

Jason- Ah, so did you suffer when trying to read/interpret postmodernist writings?: [http://www.infiltec.com/j-postmd.htm] I could never really understand what they were trying to say through all that obtuse pomo language. I agree that 211 is not that bad (and architecture doesn't have to be "amazing" to function well in an urban context), but imagine a whole downtown filled with 211s (as many American downtowns are)? What a desolate downtown that would be!
21. mipro BSP 211 West Fort Street

By the way, I noticed that most of your recent BATs have had modernist/International Style themes. Don't let your architecture professors brainwash you with all the same modernist dogma that I suffered through and am only beginning to recover from. I miss your old W2W BATs. ;-)
22. mipro BSP 211 West Fort Street

Excellent recreation- I especially like the subtle window texture! Though I must say that in real life, except for a very few exceptions, these International Style skyscrapers are really quite soulless and deadening.
23. mipro BSP Hamilton Avenue Shops

Fantastic BATs- even more variety to add to my low density commercial zones! I'm never disappointed with BSP BATs!
24. mipro BSP Miller Street Manufacturing

Well done! The roof texture is eyepopping!
25. Bronx County Courthouse

Excellent! Wasn't one of the Maxis commercial buildings based off of the Bronx County Courthouse? Your version is MUCH better, of course. ;-)
