    I'd like to point out one thing. Notice that the roof's texture on one side isn't quite even. I tried to fix that several times...it looked perfect in the perspective but turned out wonked once previewed. That's a glitch with the renderer.

    I'd like to thank you all for the kind words. True, the ceridwen/buster thing is weird. Kinda cool, actually. As far as palms, I tried that pine look before releasing the lot. I found the pines made it look somewhat Hungarian...if that makes sense.

    Hi all...I finally decided to start my own CJ. I am building a semi-European city with various types of architecture (exception of tall modern buildings). I just started building the old part of the city, which has lots of water (thanks to Oppie's Canal Set). The structure pictured here is the Verus-Gladius Amphitheater. I batted all the pieces on the lot except the Sims, benches, and newstands. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//d.JPG align=baseline> I will keep updating this thread daily to show more of the city as it grows. But this is one of the main tourist spots in the city. The city will feature more canals (thanx Oppie), as well as fancy shopping districts.

    No kidding, this is a jump in centuries, millenia even. I guess I'm trying to go modern and ancient at the same time...this core city is a small sized one...for some reason large cities don't run well on my system so I gotta keep them small...but packed. I am working on a 4th BAT now, another roman style building. Thanks once again, for the kind replies I will continue updating when I'm off work.
