  1. Maxlion's Modular Solar Farm

I've used this in the past, and will use it again, with Pegasus' MTP and SPAM downloads. Awesome!!! An 8 out of 5 and a must have for small towns/tiles.
  2. Simpeg Productions - Farewell

Totally agree. Too much has been lost. Sometimes memories are all we're left with.
  3. Is PEG PPond Lock on STEX/PLEX?

I'm amazed that some much was saved and moved here. There were several files over on SimPeg that were very old and not supported anymore, but very complete. I remember seeing somewhere that a big chunk of Pegasus' transferred works, not already on STEM, actually came from the computer files of various individuals! If an "older", unsupported, file isn't available on someone's computer it's probably lost for good. It's great that so much of Pegasus' new content had already been uploaded here. But to have so much of the older stuff found and also added, just amazes me.
  4. Simpeg Productions - Farewell

While it would awesome to be able to visit a SimPeg site again, unless there were enough developers to add new content the site would only become a "storage" place. It's wonderful that so much of the old site's content was found and moved over here. On SimPeg it was all the new content and themes, plus the help (beta testing) from several members, that maintained a thriving community over there. Being able to bring all that back would be great. But nearly $1000, plus monthly/yearly costs, for just storing old (yet wonderful) content....I don't see it. Anyone know if any of the old guys would be interesting in making new Pegasus-related content? A strong community "could" partially help (financially) maintain the site, again. But it would have to be more then just a "U-Store" garage. Just saying...
  5. Simpeg Productions - Farewell

I wouldn't expect any more stuff from him directly, but there are several people that have added MANY additions to the SimPeg site and related to Pegasus's work that have also been, gratefully, moved here. From time to time additional 'related' stuff might become available...adding to the dozens of Peg and Peg related stuff already available. The content from the Mountain Theme Pack (MTP), the SimPeg Agriculture Mod (SPAM), Coast Development Kit CDK), and the PLEX are really amazing stuff!
  6. Transparent Power Utilities

They are the pine trees from "Pegasus" and his MTP-Mountain Theme Pack. All the files have been moved over here from his closed site, thankfully! In the "ST Exchange", open the "PLEX" to find a HUGE amount of content from Pegasus. There are a few "pine" files available, old pines, pine clusters, God Mod, etc. All the MTP downloads work great with his SPAM stuff too! I encourage you to spend some time checking out all the wonderful content available in "PLEX". Here is the Mayor Mod Pine Tree Mod that will help you get started.
  7. HBS Mall del Sur

    unbelievable..and fabulous. 5/5 +
  8. FrankU Dutch Bureau of Bureaucracy

Of the 3 you released I like this one best. All 3 will find places in my cities! Great work Frank. Thanks  5/5
  9. Philadelphia City Hall

I was born and raised in Philadelphia. My parents worked in Center City so I saw this building sooo many times. Your rendition is awesome!! I feel like I'm standing at Broad and Market as I look at it. 5 to-the-square out of 5 **accidently gave a 3-star in my vote...I'd like that removed if possible. I added a well deserved 5-star
  10. Modular Oil Port

Really great. I've been waiting for this release. Thanks for sharing more of your great stuff,
  11. SPAM - Chicken Ranch

Maybe you should rename it "The Chippendale's Retirement Ranch"? Great re-lot! But I'm still keeping the Beta version

So it's a different ball game. quote> The same thing was said in Philadelphia about the view from the foot of William Penn's statue. There's a viewing platform that is (or atleast was) open for people to view the city from. I read somewhere in this thread that the in-place "pictures" of the new building were provided by those in opposition to the new building's location. I like the idea of preserving notable buildings and the view(s) from these buildings provide. Unfortunately, it is an issue that will always come up when anyone wants to building a tall building in any city. I dont' think the building looks all that bad. I feel it would be a great addition to what's available here, someday. But I don't think I like the close proximity to the ESB.
  14. A Fight on New York's Skyline

Changing a city's skyline is an old argument. I grew up in Philadelphia. Until the 1980's, there was a "gentlemen's agreement" that no building would be allowed in the city that was taller then the statue of William Penn...on top of City Hall. So "Willy" could look out on his city. Since the end of the "gentlemen's agreement", Philadelphia's skyline has changed alot. Many believe for the better. Here is Philadelphia's present skyline, with the newly built Comcast Center (tallest on the right) and City Hall, with William Penn in the foreground. This shows what Philadelphia's skyline will look like with the building of the approved American Commerce Center, which will be 1510 feet in height (it's outline is shown behind the Comcast Center). I used to one of those that didn't want anything taller then William Penn's statue. I've since changed my mind. I think Philadelphia's skyline looks great now, and will be better in the future. This new tower in New York should be built. The ESB will not stand forever. Age will force it to be taken down sometime in the future.
