  2. Fictional government buildings

    Are there any fictional buildings that are of a non-city governmental nature? I am especially looking for buildings such as national/state/provincial/etc. parliament/congress/diet buildings, capitol buildings, and others. However, I could only find some that were replicas of real life buildings. I'd like to give my city a different feel that doesn't just copy real life cities. Are there any fictional government buildings available?

    I am currently working on building a city with medieval European architecture for a City Journal. However, the CO demand (both CO$$ and CO$$$) is getting in the way of building it. I have found medieval European buildings for CS and residential buildings, but I have yet to run into any of the Commerical Office type. Are there any medieval-style (European or West Asian style) CO$$ or CO$$$ buildings?

    This is very shocking and sad for me to hear. I remember him when I first started SimCity 4 and joined Simtropolis. He was a great pleasure to chat with and he helped me quite a bit. May he rest in peace.
  5. I have a very dense city with many high rises, and a lot of road top transit lots. It is often incredibly difficult for me to demolish roads outside of Zone view without destroying anything else, because not only do the buildings block the way, my mouse also sometimes doubleclicks when I click once (probably due to some hardware error). Even when it does go successfully, I waste a lot of time because it takes a very a long time to reload the city when I switch away from Zone mode. Is there any ways I can enable demolishing transit enabled lots and stuff in Zone view?

    If you are still using Windows 8.1 and you cannot redeem your serial number with EA, then this will probably work for you. https://www.reddit.com/r/simcity4/comments/3kmfmi/quick_and_dirty_solution_to_recent_windows_update/ Follow the instructions on the above link. I would like to note that this will NOT work on Windows 10, so if you need to play SimCity 4 on your current Windows 8.1 computer, do not update to Windows 10 until you can get a digital copy.

    Sorry to revive a dead thread, but is it possible to stop only certain buildings from growing, whether they be Maxis or non-Maxis?

    Nice medium density downtown. Actually I had a city with no public transport whatsoever, and I grew it to over 100,000. I recently installed some type of funicular in the form of a light rail and subway.

    I was seeing SimCity 4 videos and I noticed that some regions appeared bigger than others. Is it possible to increase the size of the regions in SC4? I know you cannot increase the size of cities, and it is possible to decrease the size by editing the config file, but is it possible to make the size of the region any bigger than the default 64X64?

    What you describe sounds oddly similar to the real life city of Melbourne. Were you able to perfectly recreate that in SimCity 4?

  13. I tend to make my cities have historical flavour and diversity, so I try to make districts and only have certain architecture styles built at certain times.

    Sorry, but I appear to have run into a problem. When I try to apply the patch, I cannot find a Plugins_Compressed folder anywhere. All it did for me was create a file called "Install_NDEX_Glenni_MEGA_Props_Vol01.dat" in the created folder.

    This is great!  Please add nightlights to it, though.  It is very sad seeing it stand in my city with no glimmer at night.
