  1. Can't believe the amount of custom content already out for Cities. Looks like SC4 might be replaced soon

  2. Lockheed C-5 Galaxy

Absolutely incredible; textures are awesome. Please continue doing these.
  3. Humboldt Map

An absolutely breathtaking region. Everything is completely on target here. Too often the scale of the landscape is lost in this game, but this map captures the massiveness of the real world.
  4. Show us What you're Working On

newyorka: The seats are from this prop pack: some of the props don't show up, and I haven't had the time to fiddle with them in reader. The field is just a maxis texture, with some SPAM and various fence and tree props added in. All in all, for the sculling venue there are about 75 props, and for the Equestrian, about 142.
  5. Crestview City Parks

I had a quick question. What overlay texture packs are you using for the park? I can't seem to find anything similar in Lot editor...
  6. Show us What you're Working On

Working on an Olympic Sculling Venue in Lot Editor. Still a work in progress. And there are buoys, they just don't show up at this zoom level. A follow up picture will be posted soon. Edited: Added some closer up photos of the seating and track sections. (Also added a teaser of an equestrian venue I just started tonight
  7. Show us your Region!

Full version of Sibanthea. (A little Photoshop was need to fill some gaps) I still have a bunch more trees to plant, and as soon as vortext releases his seasonal tree controller over at SC4D, I'll sadly be redoing all of them.
  8. Coastal Living

    Absolutely beautiful
  9. Mikeseith 8 Level Modular Garages

    phenomenal. 5/5 from me.
  10. Beyond the Wall

Awesome update! May I ask where you found those amazing canals?
  11. Need help with STR Curve textures I'm lotting an oil refinery and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the texture codes/packs are for a 90 degree single track curve?
  12. My suggestion for Maxis

Not sure if this has been posted here before or not, but why can't Maxis take advantage of this graphics engine. I would gladly pay $100 for a Sim City that looked like this.
  13. Show us your Nature!

Thanks Hahei!! The big question is, where is the download button and how do I get it to work?
  14. Show us your Nature!

Something from me tonight: ( I hope someone will come up with a god mode tree controller for girafe's trees, they're awesome but so much work )
  15. ...I hate random CTD when I zoom out

  16. Show us your Night Shots!

I hope a month isn't too long of a bump Here's a shot from my future capital city, Aurora (W.I.P. )
  17. Show us your Small Islands!

Something small from me: Sorry about the grid, forgot all about it when I snapped the pic.
  18. Berate one image

I'll jump in on the fun First off, that looks nothing like a DeLorean. Second, the only real one was silver, and where is Doc. Be brutally honest lol (I'm kinda stuck on this city anyway )
  19. Maxis Will be Answering the "Best and Hardest Questions" About SimCity

There won't be any answers because EA really doesn't give a ****. All they are interested in is making the next buck and whatever they do give will only be a repeat of answers they've given before.
  20. Show us your Small Islands!

@Follarch: What method did you use to create the clouds, I'd love to know.
  21. Glassbox Engine: Scenario 1 (Economics of Zones)

I would like a playable demo, before I decide to spend the money
  22. I have the same problem. While it does make the center of the city "blocky," many American (and some Asian) cities are like that. I've found that 6x11 blocks work well. These large blocks give you the option of adding a number of things: side streets, parking lots, tram/EL lines, strip parks; without sacrificing space for high-rise business. Also, offsetting some of the blocks and not running long roads straight through, really helps break the grid without breaking it, so to speak. Leave the lengthy, straight routes to the avenues. Just my 2 cents...
  23. Show us your Night Shots!

Not really a city shot; more or less a detail shot: The Sea Empress on a moonless night
  24. Show Us Your...Golf Courses

Sorry for the bump... Whipped this one up tonight. Oak Valley CC
  25. First Image of SimCity 5, from German magazine GameStar

Looks a little like a Cities XL clone to me...
