First of all I want to say a huge thanks to @oppie, this mod is really musthave for old SimCity fans. I'm not fan of CoT and prefer stock SC 2013. And this mod is saving your city from traffic collapse very effectively and for not really big money. And in same time it don't force instant highest density lvl as trams. Why not 5 stars then? Only because of one very insidious and sneaky bug, with few of just nuances, so: The most dangerous for your city - if disaster will happen, and station would be destroyed with some chance you will not be unable to bulldoze it. At all, with no way. Other disasters will not help too, I tested earthquake, meteorite rain, robot, dino. I tried to search a mod which allows to bypass this bug, like auto-bulldozing of all destroyed and abandoned buildings but didn't find such mod, so in fact this bug literally can spoil your city if you get it and some area would be disabled from small enough game world. Solutions to avoid - do constant "save as" with previous copies of city or disable disasters. Other moment - pillars sometimes appears wrong on avenues. I don't know why it happends, but it's just visual issue so no real problem. There is one more bug, but it's possible to bypass it. In build mode stations always appears perfectly on avenues, but not ideal appears on regular road. Existing solution: build some small and empty road fragment not far target location, click build, then hover mouse to new road and after that instantly hover mouse to original target location and build station as usual. Finally, for balance needs, I think it should have ministry of transportation in requirements, because without this requirement it's available from start and simplifies solving of traffic problems a lot. In fact after that you barely need this ministry at all, mostly for connecting city with other cities, but not for solving transport problems of your own city. As compensation - hourly maintenance of station may be reduced from 250 to 225 or even 200 simoleons. As conclusion, I can say thanks to author one more time, if you read this lines, please consider fixing this issues, at least the main one, with buldozing of stations which was destoyed by disasters. In worst case I think would be right to just warn people about these bugs including info about them in the mod description and readme.

    Sad, but pictures already disappear
  2. CoriBoom MySimtropolis: Members Immortalized in SC4

I'm just shocked by this awesome idea. This community isn't stop to surprise even after so much of years.
  3. In my opinion, size of one tile is 30 * 30 ft . Why? Because one tile in The Sims 2 is 3 ft. Road with pavement in Sims 2 neighborhood which can be converted from SimCity 4 smallest city is 10 tiles in width. One Sims 2 tile is 3 ft, so one square of SimCity style road in Sims 2 is 30 ft in leght. Same like smallest lot of neighborhood in Sims 2 is 3x1 squares, and square is 10 x 10 tiles which are 30 * 30 ft same as square road segment. After that we can calculate: 1 tile = 30 x 30 ft = 900 ft2 = 83,6127 m2 Small city = 642 tiles = 900 ft2 * 642 = 3686400 ft2 = 0,34247776666 km2 Medium city = 1282 tiles = 900 ft2 * 1282 = 14745600 ft2 = 1,3699110666 km2 Large city = 2562 tiles = 900 ft2 * 2562 = 58982400 ft2 = 5,4796442665 km2 And, In other words: 1 tile is square with side 30 feet which is 9,144 m. Small City is square with side 1920 feet which is 585,216 m. Medium city is square with side 3840 feet which is 1170,432 m Large City is square with side 7680 feet which is 2340,864 m I hope it was interesting for someone and 15 mins for writing this post wasn't wasted time. Inspired by elfrjz's article, with same idea, but wrong calculations.
  4. City & Its Tile Size in Meters

Hi! Your calculations are wrong. First of all, one tile isn't 16 m2 and isn't 16 * 16 m . And even if it was 16 * 16 m it is not 16m2 because 16 * 16 m is 256m2. So, what is size of one tile? My Idea that size of one tile is 10 * 30 ft . Why? Because one tile in the Sims 2 is 3 ft. Road with pavement in Sims 2 which converted from SimCity 4 smallest city is 10 tiles in width. One Sims 2 tile is 3 ft, so one square of SimCity style road in Sims 2 is 30 ft in leght. I always was fan of retro emergency theme, did many mods like that for GTA V (my nickname there Lozano71), but last days i get back to SimCity 4 ( After all this time? Always.) and remember about Driver 1 models, which probably will fit for SimCity 4 too. After couple of days of experiments i created this mod. Features: Fixed mapping of model, doors looking accurate now. Fixed emergency lighting (lights not in 1-2 meters above of car anymore) - need your feedback here, how do you like this edition. Fixed night lights - position now accurate. Police and Sheriff liveries - Police will fit for cities, Sheriff for rural areas, for example MTP themed cities. Credits: nerdly_dood , i used his "Cop Cars Through the Ages" 80's police car as .dat file base and inspiration. Ubisoft Reflections: 3D Model from Driver: You are Wheelman PC version gamersin, SOAP and Someone972 from Drivermadness.net for RIP of model. Waiting for your feedback, i have more ideas of similar mods, more feedbacks - more chance i will pause my GTA V works and do some mods for SC4, just show your interest. Feel free to share this mod to any themed site with proper credits. Note about requests: Someone can be interested in %cityname% liveries, but so far it's not priority for me, i have interest to do Driver 2 police car as addon to have it toghether with driver 1 car, using same set of generic liveries. And if all be good i can go further and do more models convert. I will start to do additional liveries packs only when deal with models.
  6. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Hello, I would like to know if the big pack of NYBT buildings to search for them individually is not very convenient. Is there any carpacks except for old American cars and modern European?
  7. Subway Bug dith NAM mod

I installed the latest version of NAM mod. After that stopped appearing subway trains and commuter trains have almost disappeared. While the station is used by 50%.That is, Communication is used, but there is no visual effect. The problem may be that I installed the new version over the old one. Is this true? Sorry if this problem has already been raised at the forum, but I do not speak English and therefore is not found.
