Originally posted by: TekindusT In fact, it is. On the folder where this region is installed, MyDocuments\SimCity4\Regions\Timbuktu (this last name may vary depending on the game version you have installed), you can find a pic called "Config.bmp". This determines the size of the cities on the map. Red is small city tile, green is medium city tile and blue is large city tile. You can paint this file with MS Paint according to your needs, but remember that the existing cites WILL be destroyed. You can find more information about this subject on this Omnibus article. quote> OMG! I'm gonna get to work

Sorry, but there isn't. Welcome to Simtropolis! I'm also kind of bummed at this, as my region is smalls and mediums too. Nice idea though.

Well, here goes. I've deicded to create a CJ on my region, Terra Megalopolis, I would have had it made earlier, but I kind of forgot about the whole process of creating one. It consists of six medium and six small tiles, which are nearly all flat (besides a volcano in one small tile). There is over a million people in the region and growing. I'll post pics in a while.

They were .png in the first place. I uploaded them using IMgShack and took out the code. Will get to it sometime in the near future. I'm plannign out the design of Semperia.

Strange, code didn't seem to work. anyways, the first pics are up, by game crashed when I was trying to save due to the firewall. Although the skyline isn't that big, it has a lot of history behind it. [ Zatrepant. My second real attempt to make a "big" city, after Wangerput. Held Largest City title for a long time, before being minorely eclipsed by Sutafet and right after that, Fornapet. (170 and 174 K each). Hope you like them!

I'm going to be busy fro the next 45 minutes, but I'll get on after that. I'm not using that many mods, so be prepared for Maxis-land

OK, I have my frist region-city, called Terra Megalopolis. It's all land (I'm not going to trust myself with wat yet, I'm wating for New Britain), and is currently at 1,104,634, with 6 medium and six small tiles encorporated into it. Fortapet is my largest city in there, with 174K, 93K commercial and 40K Industrial jobs, but isn't in as good shape as New Wangerput with 150K. I'm using the aRtificial Tree, SkyFarm, Money TRee and PLopomatic mods, but WAngerput has gotten to 130 K, with no mods.

Hello everyone, I, who I will leave nameless, am participating in the National Engineers Week Future Cities competition (http://www.futurecity.org/). Part of it is to make a city in Sim City 4 that fits requirements on the rubric, graded for points that tally up along with the other part of the building. Here is the link to the rubric: http://www.futurecity.org/docs/2009_Judging_Tutorial.pdf Along with that, the city has to have at least 50,000 people and it will have to go on for at least 150 years. The tax rate also, at max, cannot be higher than 8.0% for any group. I ( along with the rest of my group) are using the region directly east of Kensington and Fulham, the two pre-maid cities in the London region. I have deleted the water poopls, yet have forgotten to shapen up the river so as to allow a seaport or ferries. Any pointers on what we should go for on the rubric and what we should only partially focus on. TIA, Buggie P.S. I will be editing on more, since the rubric is not currently in my hands.

Help with a Sim-City 4 based project (I don't know if this is the right section of the forum)
Buggie replied to Buggie's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Since hte pics are not on my school account, it would be sort of hard to do so. Cheats, as listed, are not allowed. We are currently doing EVIL missions to get more cash. 140,000 people, bout a quarter of the map covered. -
I was playing my new city, and I zoned it all down w/ all of the amenities, ready for it to popularte. It did. After a year, I checked my graphs. My commute time graph had a spike, and the y values were 10000-70000. Why did this happen?
