Happy 10th Birthday, Roxas! (Bunny, not KH character)
Terring replied to Zelgadis's topic in General Off-Topic
Oh, that's so sad. I am sorry for your loss. I had a pet too and I know the feeling of being empty without it. Pets are more than just little companions. They're a big part of your life and loosing them is like loosing something from us. I'm sure that Roxas have had a beautiful life with you, and I guess it's those very special moments that matters the most right now. RIP, Roxas. -
I usually avoid talking about politics, simply because I find politics and politicians such an outdated system that still using it nowadays to establish a system of organization and solve our problems makes no sense at all. I also avoid telling others what to do and avoid slapping my opinions at anybody's face. But the situation right now is so bad that I'm going to make an exception. Dear American friends, this year don't vote for ideology or interest. This time, vote for science. Science is the best and only way to understand our world and ourselves, to think creative and rationally at the same time, to discover awesome things, and use those knowledge to solve problems and build a better world for everyone. Right now we're dealing so many global-scaled crises that can be solved by using our knowledge, our tools and our scientific methodology. Still, science is under attack by corporations, governments and charlatans, putting their hunger for profit and power above our lives. So this year, do the difference and vote for science

That's some very nice trains you've made, dragon. Keep it up Before I let my train suggestions, I'd like to know if you're only making historic and modern real-world trains, or you have no problem creating concept, proportional, experimental, or even fictional fantasy/sci-fi trains as well.

October the 10th was a big day. It was the 10th anniversary of the premiere of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, a show nostalgic but still fresh, that turns out to be a big and great surprise for so many people, proving that good deep writing, great stories, and lovable characters that evolve during the show, can make even the most mature, serious and manly adults adore those cute little ponies. For some, it was a great show that was a part of the new golden age of cartoons, such as Avatar and Gravity Falls. For others, it was a life changing experience, that allowed them to express themselves, discover new stories and make new friends. Different people, different ideas, all sharing the same show, originally made for little girls but eventually loved by everybody. Even a bit delayed, happy 10th birthday, my little ponies (draw by siggie740)

my little pony MLP:FiM 10th Anniversary
Terring replied to Terring's topic in My Little Pony Club's Topics
The purple pony is Twilight Sparkle and the white one is Rarity So you're creating Rarity? She would have been very happy for that if she was here- 6 Replies

my little pony MLP:FiM 10th Anniversary
Terring replied to Terring's topic in My Little Pony Club's Topics
You never ruin any moment, @Raymond7cn. You can always make better any moment. I'm looking forward to see what you're working on. At my avatar I have princess Luna, the princess of the night, protector of the dreams, a great example of an atoner (one of the kinds of characters I respect the most), and overall one of my favorite ponies in the series. @carlosmarcelo, I believe the main reason why MLP, as well as Avatar, Gravity Falls and the 2012 version of TMNT, became so popular and beloved is because they actually respected their audience. They didn't use the insulting "it's just for kids" excuse to slap junk in our face. They gave us everything. Characters, lores, interesting places to explore, adventures, humor, sadness, anger, fear, dark moments, bright moments, hope, lessons. They took risks, they gave us deep stories and character development, they did their best to touch both kids and adults. And they succeed. Besides, as Walt Disney said, adults are only kids grown up.- 6 Replies

I'll agree that Wild West content is rare and deserve some extra love. Maybe we could bring Lucky Luke and his adventures on SimCity 4 too I'm not a BAT creator, but I can help you by giving some ideas and advises on this topic. The future has so many faces and can hug so many visions, from retrofuture and dieselpunk to cyberpunk and solarpunk, from Metropolis and Blade Runner to Star Trek and Anno 2070. If you need some ideas, I can give some to you

At October the 7th 2020, after a trial lasting more than five years, the leadership of Greece's neo-Nazi political party Golden Dawn (which secured 18 MPs in 2012) has been convicted of running a criminal organization. Leader Nikos Michaloliakos and six colleagues were convicted of heading a criminal group, supporter Giorgos Roupakias was found guilty of murdering an anti-racist musician, and 15 others were convicted of conspiracy in the case.
What a nice day

@WolfZe, @JulianMIA, @Raymond7cn, @sejr99999, @Max4k, @_marsh_, @bobolee, @Kuba138, @mitsos, @ByeByeBayou, @mrsmartman and @Manuel-ito, thank you very much for your comments, likes and follows. I know that I don't make new entries as often as I'd like to, but making a new town as pretty and environmental friendly as possible is not such a simple task. A new town in under construction. For now, here are some night pictures of Daphnerose. I'm happy to see that night pollution has been reduced even more thanks to my trees

Awesome work. My mother is from Egypt. I showed your entry to her and she loved it so much

I think you should release them. I see some really nice buildings and lots that would fit like a glove in my futuristic cities

Thank you for flying with Raymond Airlines

Hello there I remember you've asked the same thing almost 3 years ago at SC4D, as Tarkus mentioned at his link above. Your proposed logos are nice, but if the NAM team prefer its current logo you should respect their decision. But since you like making new designs, why not creating new textures for roads and other transit systems and show them to the NAM team (like a new set of streets for SAM), or a dependency set of textures for new lots, or textures for new cars and other automata? @SIM-ple Jack: OK, now that's really cool
-
@Max4k, the Peg's skyfarms comes with a large variety of lots, some of which are plop-able and easily to recognize them because they have the word "landmark" at their .SC4lot file. Keep only the lot files with the "landmark" at their name and move the rest of them outside of your plugins folder. Then you can move them back when you need them.
-
So now we can turn the walls into buildings too? That's awesome. It looks like my experiments with the 3D cities, for which I've made a set of textures that can be placed on slopes to turn hills and craters into buildings, like these examples: That gives me an idea about your textures. If you can use them in a plop-able building specialized to be placed on hillsides, you might get something like this:
-
I'm not sure what exactly is this, but it looks like the most busy runaway in the world

With my pleasure. I'm a big fun of Command and Conquer and I already have some ideas about which building would be perfect for SimCity at which functionality, so I think I can help you a lot here

I don't have iLive Reader or any other relevant program to change the parameters of the model and make it a waste disposal facility or something similar, but I fully agree that the model can indeed be very useful for many reasons and ways. Only if you want it too, my friend

I used the canister prop to make a small set of grow-able fillers for my cyberpunk industrial zones. So when I let my dirty industries build freely, there will always be a possibility for them to build those canisters too. Oh my goodness! Zombies! I knew no good would come from the Umbrella Corporation and their experiments!
-
Emm... Ray, why your subway station looks more like a canister that contain dangerous stuff? Why its interior glows green? And why it has the Umbrella Corporation logo? Oh no! Ray, don't unleash a zombie apocalypse! Just don't do it! But seriously, that's a very nice BAT and I didn't know that you could build subways on water. Keep it up

Those things were supposed to be part of a second expansion pack focused on nature, that adds weather and salt water among others, but never made because "that would made the game too complicated"

And I'm glad that we have such a humble and enthusiastic friend and creator in our community, always willing to push the limits and inspire a new generation of creators And before saying "I'm just a student", let me tell you something that I've discovered in my life. That a teacher can be a student too, and a student can be a teacher too
