    I owned and played them all. Probably played SC2000 and SC4 the most. I loved to create cities in SC2000 then port them to SimCopter. Fun times...

  12. I really like the neighborhood theme. Buildings from Roman or Spanish architecture would be cool. Then you could make neighborhoods like in the large US cities. Have a China town, Greek section, Irish section, Polish section etc...

  18. I am running the Steam Deluxe version on my Dell XPS 420 that I bought in 2008. Original Quad processor @ 2.4mhz, 8GB ram and a GTS 450 video card. You should be fine.

    I would like to clarify something for you guys about trade. I reported this as an issue in the beta but it was turned down as working as intended. You can't always blame your trade partner when a trade cancels. The game does not take what your trading out of your available pool for your city. So when you started trading 9 water for 3 fuel the water is still available to the city. So as you build and build and build guess what you use up your water and no longer have 9 water for trade and your trade cancels. The fuel guys is now pissed at you all because the trade system does not work properly even though you did not intentionally cancel the trade. And this just discourages people from trading. This was only one of many flaws in the logic of the game that made me decide to not purchase this car crash of a game.
  21. Plot Placement Issues

    That issue has existed since the beta launched. Seems they never fixed it. It got to the point I stopped using the auto grid and left space between plots to avoid this. The roads don't always square up either even though the look like it. Some time if you delete the road and place it again you can get around the 5 minutes back and forth. But I stress sometimes.
  22. Hotel's broken/bugged?

    On the right side there options to show you things in your city. One of the options will show you green lines on the roads that come in from your city link. This shows you how far a visitor is willing to travel into your city for commerce/trade. As your city grows and your roads get bigger the green will extend farther into your city showing people will travel farther in for you goods and services. If your hotel is not on a strong green (meaning not faded np green) it will fail. Business hotel sounds right. Sorry I can't be more precise because I decide not to buy the game so I don't remember all of the terms. Hopefully someone else can supply the correct terms. I'm just trying to point you in the right direction.
