5 pointsThanks for the comments guys! I've realized the past few weeks that although the mountain in the region was nice, kind of a Mt Fuji like, it too way too much place and blocked half of the region. I decided to delete it. As well as the general shape of the region. The river/canals I wasn't satisfied with how they looked and the cities as well. You might think "what, again?" and well, yes, again. It's like a curse or something. So today I present you the xth version of my region! It's a 3x4 big city tiles with the three at the top being filled with water. I'll probably add two island there. (Kamishima and Hashima) The update is about the new version of the downtown.

4 pointsHow about uploading a whole series of these! You can make future post apocalyptic. I've got a little thing going with these, so if people are interested, I might decide to release some of'em. Here's some more material I'm going to use for future updates. I'm just building them up but, thought I'd show them anyway. It's the fourth bldg in a series I've made for a system war episode I'm planning on making. This ruined residential area below is going to have a variety of appearances. Just working on them right now.

2 points--PART OF THE DOUBLE DAY UPDATE SPECIAL-- --CAREFUL! LARGE PICTURES-- -- Check Out the College Town Update HERE-- Weston Hills, a quiet rich city, with a bustling downtown area home to any regional headquarters, and even some world headquarters. With its expensive, yet peaceful homes, large playful parks, and beautiful mountain views from any point in the city, Weston Hills is the perfect suburb for any family. However, with its many offices home to big corporations, two super-regional malls, and busy ski resorts in the winter, Weston Hills has the worst traffic of any city below 50,000 in Henderson, with an average of 4.1 hours of gridlocked avenues a day. But even with its "big city in a small town" feel, Weston Hills continues to attract people from all over the rest of the Western World... Replies are at the bottom Downtown Weston Hills. In this picture you can see multiple malls, offices, condos, apartments, and even the Weston Hills Plaza Mall, which serves not only the 27,000 residents of Weston Hills, but also 250,000 residents in the Palmdale Valley. In 2012 this mall became the most expensive mall in Henderson, which attracted even more upper class residents from the valley. A closeup of the Weston Tower Condos, the largest apartment in Weston Hills. Weston Avenue and Weston Hills Boulevard. Weston Hills High School (2,514 students) and the regional headquarters for Electronic Arts. Weston Hills Boulevard turns here and intersects with Angela Road. Many offices can be seen here, the most important one is the Henderson national headquarters for Motorola. Building with orange roof. Weston Hills homes on the gradual elevation decline near central Weston Hills. Mountain View Park. Tourists often come here to see the views of the surrounding mountains. A normal neighborhood. Some condos in Northwest Weston Hills. Some new homes in the southern neighborhood of Weston Steps, named for its terraformed elevation resembling steps when looking on an elevation/contour map. The Hills Plaza Center, a 4 story, 550,000 square feet mall that serves the exact same area as the Weston Hills Plaza Mall. The two malls compete with each other, which leads to aggressive advertising. It is not uncommon for a commercial to air on Palmdale Valley tv stations with one of the malls directly attacking the other. This screenshot from Henderson Homes shows how expensive Weston Hills is. As you can see Simtropolis members SimRico and TitanicBuff have homes here. Another random something I made. Replies from Update 16 UndercoverNinja12- Thanks! Arakawa, Minamizaki Prefecture, 26th July 2014.... Just another day in Shinakiara Metropolitan area, a 12 millions people populated regions in Nakahara. In Arakawa, Minamizaki Prefecture, the 2nd largest city in the region people just started their activities normally just like in other Saturday, "Well its already 8:40 in the morning, how everyone today? what are you guys planned to do today?" a few words from an english radio station in the Arakawa. "Everything looks fine today." There's people doing their activities in the suburban of Nakahara's 3rd largest metropolitan area.... yeah this city rank 3rd for Nakahara largest metropolitan area rank just below the largest Shinkyo-Watanabe and 2nd Nagawa-Kara-Fujiyoshi metropolitan area and sightly larger with the 4th one, Ayukawa with population about 8millions This waterfront park of Arakawa, one of the place where industrial not covering the coastal area, The whole coast of region covered with the thick wall to prevent a major tidal wave or tsunami for entering the land. People around the city doing their own stuff anywhere in this city. like in this park, there's some citizens who out for a little bit of fresh air or some chat with the neighbor maybe? Well seems not all park are crowded anyway like this one in northeast of Arakawa.... Some area though still crowded like in the weekdays like in this road, Nishikawa Highway which people use to commute daily toward Akashima...... but well still less crowded than in weekdays.... Meanwhille in South coast of Akashima, seems some factories and warehouse is busy today... This industrial area located just next to the Arakawa River which bordering both cities... "well just remember last night in the city?" "hmm?" "that blackout to the streetlight system toward whole atarashima city" "But it didn't happened for long time... though the traffic kinda chaos for 15 minutes after the traffic light turned off too..." "So basically I drive around the city last night man..." "friday night routine eh?" "well not every week or day but anyway its better than just stayed on home or just go to nearest bar..." "for somehow I keep thinking to back to my hometown in Ayukawa though, i dont know why but I have a bad feeling" "Ayukawa surely isnt much different though, since it also a large city just like here...." "by the way, I see the most interesting part of city yesterday, Nishimachi area of Akashima where the infamous area for the young people of city" "well yeah enough for my story last night, lets check up how everything going in this city today..." "hey wait......" Really another earthquake???? it just yesterday happened and bigger?" *ground started to shakes* "WHOA!!!!!!!" to be continued........

2 pointsHere's a more finished looking product. A Vertical (VTOL) Landing Bay. It's chiefly meant to be built in High Altitudes along rugged mountain cliff areas. It should sink in to the ground too to make it seem like it's been embedded into the surface of the mtn.

2 points@reddonquixote and @darn42, you both are fantastic in your BATs, and just helped me a lot with this! 1 pointWelcome to New Florida City. An oppressed shorside city, once called Miami since 1942. Vlasky Thanks tankmank Thanks sarthakknight Lol, thank you TekindusT WOOT. Richie99 Nope...It's heblem's and it's on the STEX. A building of that magnitude I technically can't render since my laptop hasn't got the necessary hardware to do so. Small scale BATs and high-rises for me strictly unfortunately -- And I'm not nearly good enough to produce that kind of BAT yet Hellken Thanks for providing a link to the NYTB. MilitantRadical Well a beautiful building like this deserves a little front-and-center praise. Not sure about the explosion though... ioh969 Thanks Shortsonfire Thanks a lot APSMS Well, I've got a few other photoshopped pieces under my sleeve, but tbh, photoshopping isn't as time consuming. Mostly depends on what I'm photoshoppping, but in the case of the fire...something like 5-10 minutes to complete. Thanks though Mother of Invention #2 Enjoying the story huh? Well here's some more spursrule14 Thanks ______________________________________ Note: New Florida Underground Alliance members [ME:TMW characters] evacuate their apartment. Some dialog and shows the first encounter between NFUA's John, Kaidan, Ashley, Jeff/Joker and the Red Flag's Dylan, vaguely featured in the previous update 'Something Useful'. Also, if you don't pick up on it later, New Florida is the alternate Miami. ______________________________________ New Florida City. The largest metropolitan area in the greater New Florida administrative division. While the affluent live wonderful lives along the keys and the coast, these pockets are separated from the ghetto districts that coat the rest of development in what was previously known as Miami. Bt while the aristocrats in New Florida feel relative saftey and security in their walled communities, tables begin turn and heads spin as the New Florida Underground Alliance shake things up. But the effects only do so much before the repercussions overwhelm resistance... To be continued...

1 pointA delegation from the Bureau of Feline Affairs, headed by Princess Ava, recently returned to The Wirdleplex from a State Visit to Belize and Guatemala. Today, we will look at some of the results of the trip from western Belize. Other than the National Assembly building in Belmopan, the other pictures are all in the Cayo District, not far from San Ignacio. There are also a few peeks at the new Prehistoric Mesoamerica inspired SimCity creation due to be released in Harar after a while. Why would the BFA want to go to Belize (other than the fact that it totally rocks, of course!) is that Belize is home to five wildcat species. And who in Schulmania would not want to see that??!! They are: Jaguar Jaguarundi Margay Pumas Ocelot And now, let's celebrate Belize! CAHAL PECH, Cayo District XUNANTUNICH, Cayo District And a few bonus critter pix: Peanut head moth Iguana on the side of the big pyramid temple BELMOPAN, National Capital The design of the National Assembly building is inspired by Mayan designs Lest we forget, Guatemala is also one of the original birthplaces of CHOCOLATE!!! And now, let's celebrate Guatemala! TIKAL, GUATEMALA The base of a massive ceiba tree... so tall it needs to be buttressed to stay upright! The crown of the aforementioned ceiba tree... way way way up there! A simian friend was "hanging out" with us... you have to watch out if they are overhead because they like to fling "certain organic materials" at you This blurry "Bigfoot" style picture is the coatimundi... wouldn't you know the only time it finally came out in the open I could not get a better picture than this... 1 point--PART OF THE DOUBLE DAY UPDATE SPECIAL-- --CAREFUL! LARGE PICTURES-- -- Check out the Weston Hills Update HERE-- Founded in 1932, The University of Henderson's Palmdale Campus in College Town is the 4th oldest campus in the UofH college system. With 41,495 undergraduates and a total of 54,227 students, it is also the second largest campus of the 1.1 million student UofH system. One fact that even many locals don't know is that 94% of the 111,000 residents in College Town either are or have attended the local UofH campus. Which also makes income inequality very great. Whether your wondering how your going to pay off your student loans or bragging about how you already paid your's off, everyone is always welcome in College Town. Replies are at the bottom Here it is, the main attraction. The University of Henderson's Palmdale Campus. With 41,495 undergraduate students and 12,732 (54,227 total), it's the second largest UofH campus in Henderson, after the Radiator Springs Campus (62,198 undergraduates, 100,021 total) For those of you who don't know or got confused in the last update, College Town is a district of Palmdale. These are the Toledo Dorms. After a shocking number of scholarship students reported being bullied by non-scholarship students, in 1990, the university introduced a system new to Henderson where only scholarship students can live in the Toledo Dorms. The average value of each unit of the Toledo Dorms is $2,450 rent/ $258,690 own. This is the Maya Building, a multipurpose building that is home to 20 permanent classes and 86 temporary/vocational classes. The Student Life Building (bottom), home to the Student Union, Campus Library, Toledo Cafeteria, Toledo Arcade, Kalone Gymnasium, Student Shopping Pavilion, and various classes. The Palmdale Building (top), is one of the largest college buildings in Henderson, with 13 above ground buildings and 4 below ground floors, and 2.1 million square feet big. The Palmdale Building was built to make up for the 15 buildings that were demolished in order to make space for the College Town Mall. The College Town Mall. At 801,000 square feet and more than 100 stores, this mall can fit the needs of any college student. Here are some on campus apartments, these are almost fully occupied by non-scholarship students, who have to pay an average of $985 a month, noticeably higher than the city average of $711. This is University Park. In the winter, the park is home to multiple snowball fights almost every day, including the Annual Christmas Eve Snowball Fight, organized by the City of Palmdale. Since the first one in 1952, there has only been 5 years where there hasn't been enough snow on the ground to hold the snowball fight, and 16 years where there has been a snowfall during the snowball fight. The College Town Industrial Park. In 2013, the industrial park made up 42% of College Town's economy, and 10% of the city of Palmdale's economy. The College Town Business District. This was one of the three business district created in 2010 to satisfy Palmdale's desperate need for jobs and lower its peak unemployment rate of 18.3% at the time. Something Random I made... 1 pointAfter the success of my first real city, Regresado City, I decided to embark on yet another endeavor to create an even better city. Thanks to tutorials on region design, I was able to get a region composed entirely of the largest tiles available. Plus, over time I downloaded a multitude of custom buildings to further beautify the city. ------------------------------- Here is a compilation of the best screenshots of Sigmar City, in all its splendor. A region view. Sigmar City actually has four suburbs with a multitude of gigantic industrial districts. Here is a daytime look at the main city core. It was built on a three river intersection and has a huge amount of skyscrapers. A gigantic tower lies on a central island. A nighttime view of the city in its dazzling light. A closer look at one of the skyscraper districts. Some of these lots are very big. A relative mix of vanilla and custom buildings. An even closer look at some buildings. One of the ultramodern buildings in the city, built on one of the man-made islands in the river. Another landmark on the same island as the ultramodern building.

1 pointHere's one I started about a week ago. I tried something new with the lowering of the shore for IND's. It seems to work out good, so far. Longshore is completely served by SUBWAYS, so the traffic is minimal. I like that because I do a lot of UDI scenerios. Enjoy...
-
1 pointTo get a grip on these, query the lots that have the "brown paper packages tied up with string" to see which they are, then inspect the download page for them. The other possibility is that you have put only the .sc4lot file in your plugins for a BAT that also has a .sc4desc and .sc4model file. If you have a download containing these three items or just a .sc4lot and .sc4model file, these all go into your plugins. A BAT lot consist of the three files noted above, but some makers use techniques that eliminate the .sc4desc file by including it in the .sc4lot file. If you don't have file extensions turned on in your computer, do so. This is the only way you can tell you've got everything. This feature is off by default, which IMHO is one of Microsoft's really stupid choices.

1 pointThanks guys. - Tony, sure, I'll post an update once I get TCC out. Although would be good if I can get that 3rd section of the Yarra completed first... - Noah, that's ok, if it was one of my Melbourne recreations I'd have a stronger opinion, but this one is for everyone so happy to make it as versatile as I can. - Gaz, no I don't think there's any hidden surprises in there unfortunately, I have a couple of surprises up my sleeve but nothing that's been exported yet So here's TCC with greater distribution of lights, this is about as much lighting as I think I can give it without going overboard. I'm going to export overnight, so let me know if you think of any other changes, otherwise look for it on the STEX tomorrow
