  1. Tunnels not deleting

    Koesj - I get them when editing and delete them all if I can, but once in awhile there's no way to delete them. The lines themselves don't show up on the surface nor underground. Ever run into this? Note: This was with a D/L'ed map. I was just trying to clean it up a bit.
  2. The only way I fixed this problem was to delete the line and start over and make 2-3 lines the second time instead of one long one. Sorry about this answer - lol.
  3. Show us your Detail Shots

    I leveled a section near my river and then decided to try to run a street along the cliff's edge. Using the slope tool, the zig-zag sttreet tool and a lil' bit of editing, I think it came out pretty nice. The residents took no time at all to fill in at the top. Check it out... Just wondering - What rock mod did you use and where can I locate it?

    Okay - I picked up an ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 m/b and an AMD FX 6300 6 Core chip. Plus I also bought a Hyper 212 EVO chip cooler. I hope this solves my problems with lag.

  7. CPU chip

    I'm running a custom tower setup built for me with 8gb ddr3 (or 5, not sure), a PNY GeForce 750Ti 2gb gddr5 video card and a AMD A4-3400 APU w/ Radeom omboard (disabled). I love C:S, but once my cities get a bit large, they begin to lag a lot. Might be the CPU chip??? Any recommendations?

  9. To All; For Father's Day, my Son, who lives in Japan, wants to know how he can buy me a copy of C:S off of Steam (he has a $$$ account there) and somehow let me D/L it here (USA) for my machine. Is this even possible? Do they have a "gifting" option? Any help will be appreciated.
  10. Wondering - I have the original 1.0 version of the game. Before I do any patches, can I jump right to the 1.1.0 version without getting any of the rest? ( I've seen a 1.06, etc.)
  11. No train link to the outside

    FYI - I did a completely separate 4 rail system on one of my maps that works just fine. . 2 are for "local" passenger and industry (1 each)... . and the other 2 are for "external" traffic... (tourists coming & leaving [ 1 rail ] and one for the export/import of manufactured goods [ 1 rail ].) . It takes up a little bit of room, but I packed them (all 4) tight to each other. . aable - Quote - "I think you should be able to set up local cargo connections as well but I haven't tried that and I don't know how useful it would be." Your city should already have many different industries...some create "raw materials" and others create products out of it. Trains will move products back and forth.

    I D/Led it and have been trying to play it without the "Unlimited Money" option. TUFF!!  $-(minus)34.000,000. I still have the -34 mil., but it's slowly coming down - real slow - lol.  Thanks for the very interesting map.

    Tuff island, but I have it running.  Can't wait until I can expand a lot further. Here's a pic. Guess what I did with the sewage - lol. The shore was the original, but since there is no moving water, I relocated the pump. .
  14. Fixing "Choppy" graphics

    I looked around a lot and found a PNY GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2gb on amazon for around $142. I have yet to install it, but I'm sure it will really help. Thanks guys!!
  15. Surely somebody has developed ploppable water by now (like in SC4). It probably wouldn't look the same as the game's water, but as long as it was close would be all you need.
