One of the United States' oldest and most historic cities, Boston was initially founded in 1630 by Puritan colonists from England. Over the years, the city became the capital of the Massachusetts Bay Colony and has played a role in a number of key events throughout American history. During the 1800s, the city grew into an important industrial and railroad hub - and more recently, a center of education, banking, and financial services.

On our way to Boston, we'll be traveling through some of the region's stunning landscapes. Each autumn in New England brings dramatic, beautiful changes to the area's foliage.

We've arrived in Boston - and our first sight is the famed Old State House. Built in 1713, it's one of the city's oldest buildings - and has served as a seat of colony government, state government, a city hall, and more recently - a museum dedicated to the city's history.

Another one of Boston's most iconic buildings is the Old North Church - built in 1723, it's the city's oldest surviving church and is located in the city's historic North End district.

The architecture of Boston is noted for its unique combination of old and new. Here we see a nighttime view of historic Faneuil Hall - a popular marketplace for nearly 300 years - alongside the 1960's brutalist Boston City Hall.

A look at the nearby Boston Custom House, rising high above Faneuil Hall.

Located near Kenmore Square is iconic Fenway Park - MLB's oldest stadium has been home to the Boston Red Sox since 1912.

Another look at downtown Boston with a view of the city's famous waterfront. In the middle of the scene, we catch a glimpse of the "Big Dig" (officially known as the Central Artery/Tunnel Project) - at a cost of over $20 billion and taking nearly 16 years to complete, this mega project was designed to bring much needed relief to the city's ongoing congestion problems, but so far the results have been mixed.

A few final overviews of central Boston and Copley Square with two of the city's most notable skyscrapers in view - the John Hancock Tower and the Prudential Tower.

@Garbanzo Thanks for the nice words! These scenes are from cities that I created with SC4 - sharing cities or regions in SC4 isn't really possible as you'd need the exact plugins I used, and since I'm using lots of stuff from the STEX & LEX that I didn't make, sharing them would mean violating all sorts of site rules. Your best bet would be to try to create the city from scratch and find similar content on the STEX and LEX and give it a go yourself unfortunately. Anyways, thanks for the follow, I'm glad you enjoyed the update *:thumb:

@The British Sausage Thank you very much! *:thumb:

@gubi I'm using people MMPs from Delecto on the LEX, some MMPs from this pack here on the STEX, and some cars from the VIP carpacks on the STEX & LEX. Some of the car props though were custom made.

@Morgan R Thank you very much for the kind words, glad you enjoyed the Old North Church scene! I can't seem to find the link to the blue awning building you're referring to though unfortunately, I'll have to do some more looking around and get back to you.

@mertzigzag Appreciate the nice words! I always make sure I focus in on those small details, they make all the difference *:)

@b9117w Thanks for the comment *:thumb:

@pclark06 Thank you very much! *:)
