  1. Next Gen Planes Pack 2

I see you did the Breeze livery... thank you!!!
  2. DoubleTree Hotel

Great model of this building--I know it well, as I know the manager of the real hotel... I'll let him know he's been turned into a Sim.
  3. Next Gen Planes Pack 1

Amazing! As I was flying through a few big (real life, not Sim ) airports yesterday it occurred to me that my Sim airports were getting a bit dated... I was very pleasantly surprised to find this lovely collection when I logged on at home! If you're planning any follow-up rounds of new planes, I'd love to see an A220 in Breeze livery!
  4. Entry 20: Lost? Follow the Signs!

It's funny how for a lot of regions I'd be like "wow, this is overbuilt," but for Norway this is spot on... you do indeed see crazy high quality / high complexity road infrastructure like this in smaller towns even in relatively remote areas. Their level of investment is just crazy high. This reminds me a lot of what I saw in the smaller towns around Trondheim. Nice work!
  5. South East Wisconsin Part 6

Your selection of photo for "Kohler" is unfortunately not from Kohler, as in the village, though the Kohler Company would have you think otherwise. That's from Whistling Straits, their golf course which is technically located in Haven, Wisconsin, an unincorporated town North of Sheboygan and Northwest from Kohler, located on the Lake Michigan shore. It's marketed as part of the company's whole "Destination Kohler" shtick, even though some of the stuff isn't in the actual town named after the company... they do have a whole golf resort in the village proper though... that would be Blackwolf Run. (Speaking of which, where is the golf course in your Sim version?! )
  6. The planned obsolescence hammer is about to come down on my still perfectly functional Windows 8.1 PC, so I'm being forced to update to Windows 10, and with that, my ancient disc-based copy of SimCity 4 will presumably stop working (due to the well-documented lack of SecuRom support). It's been well-documented here that the best path to keep running SimCity 4 is to buy the GOG.com release, which I've done (only $4.99 right now!), so thanks everyone so far for the tip on that... but now I'm puzzling over how to actually carry out migrating 15 years of saved games to a new install using the GOG.com build. Is it just a matter of installing it and then simply dumping in my plugins folder and saved regions? Or is it a whole lot more complicated than that? What tips and tricks, or known gotchas, do folks have to share for moving from a disc-based SimCity 4 installation to using a GOG.com distribution? What have you done to succeed in keeping all your previous stuff intact?
  7. I'll point out that you don't actually have to fully reinstall to make such a move work... you can also use symbolic links to effectively move files (see https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/ for a primer on what symbolic links are and how to use them). Basically, you move the actual contents of, say C:\Program Files\Maxis to E:\SimCity or whatever location you want on your new NVME drive while still leaving the shell of C:\Program Files\Maxis\ in place. You can also move your save games somewhere else too, like instead of C:\Users\Youruser Name\Documents\SimCity 4\ copy stuff into E:\SimCity Files\ or whatever. Then use a symbolic link to point the original two directories to the new locations. I used this strategy to move my SimCity install and save game files to a new faster SSD and it worked like a charm, including working just fine with SC4 Launcher.
  8. A Trip Around The Globe

whoa, that's the first time I've seen Madison featured in your series (that view just barely cuts off where I live!)... would love to see more detail of that in the future!
  9. Atlanta

That model of Bank of America Plaza is gorgeous! Is that available for download anywhere?
  10. AGC - Aircrafts DLC

Looking forward to some new commercial aircraft... it's been a while since there have been updates from the various airport prop teams, so this is some welcome news!
  11. Tokyo, Japan

Is that Skytree model a released BAT that can be downloaded somewhere? That looked amazing.
  12. United States (Pt. 5/6)

Love the Milwaukee and Chicago scenes! I can hear the Hiawatha rumbling across the railroad bridge in Walker's Point. (This reminds me, I have a vague recollection that someone was working on a model of Milwaukee City Hall a long time ago... wonder what ever happened to that?)
  13. United States (Pt. 1)

I love the care taken to use all the Portland buildings in their real context, right down to Pioneer Courthouse Square! And some of the buildings used for LA are amazing... where did you get Wilshire Grand, Bonaventure Hotel, and the City Hall BATs??
  14. The Alps (Pt. 2/2)

Wow, you've outdone yourself with this one... truly amazing!
  15. Bright Plans for the Kingdom's Power Grid!

Build all the hydroelectric plants and add some nukes and giant coal plants too! Diversify with various huge baseload generating systems so that you can export to all your neighbors and make them dependent on your power supply. You'll never have to worry about a war with your neighbors because you can just turn their lights off if they get feisty. (I joke... IRL this is a horrible plan... but basically the plan of several nations/regions in the last 50 years)
