Over the last couple of weeks, I've been quietly putting the finishing touches on my Sydney Harbour recreation - and now with the tile just about complete, it's time for another look at the Harbour City. I'll be splitting the tour into two parts - and for the first part today we'll be taking a look at some scenes from the CBD, Royal Botanic Garden, and more. No trip to Sydney is complete however without a visit to the world famous Sydney Opera House - so that's where we'll begin our journey. Enjoy!

Sydney's Royal Botanic Garden is one of the world's most impressive urban parks and has been a popular destination in the city since opening back in 1816.

Stunning work again! I particularly like the work on the park. As an aside, was I imagining it or did you once post a tutorial of sorts on converting sketchup models for use in SC4? If I'm not crazy and you did, would you mind pointing me in the right direction? My searches don't seem to turn anything up. Thanks!

You look at these pictures and wonder which part of "down" and "under" does Sydney fall into.

I must say, though, the Opera House looks less flat from a higher angle. :D

Those overviews of the harbour at the end are just stunning.

G'day Korver,

I'm back in Adelaide now, but spent a couple of years in Sydney in recent times and must say you've done a brilliant job there, hats off to ya!

I concur with Androgeos - the harbour shots are sublime.

@Cyclone Boom @Naomi57 It's like taking a wonderful train trip to me. I may give up on making such beautiful CJ myself, since I understand how many great and complicated works behind this, Thank you @korver!*:thumb:

Sincerely,

-- Raymond
