Industrial Scenes - Part II

The industrial scenes conclude today with a wide variety of pictures from across the globe - and we'll begin the tour in Rotterdam, The Netherlands - home to one of the world's largest seaports. The port, which was the world’s busiest from 1962 to 1986, has now been overshadowed by Asian ports such as Singapore and Shanghai - but is still considered to be a strategically important distribution point in Europe as it is surrounded by Europe’s highly-populated and industrialized centers – the German Ruhr district, Paris and London. The Port of Rotterdam came into existence in 1283 when a small fishing village was created at the mouth of the Rotte River by reclaiming a tract of land. The port became a major seaport in 1360 after the construction of a canal to the Schie. This development allowed the port to gain access to larger cities in the north, and to facilitate the transport of goods between England and Germany - and it's been going strong ever since.

"Amazing" doesn't even begin to describe it!! And now, for some reason, I'm tempted to believe that some day you'll show us a full Rotterdam port recreation; that would be superb.

One of the most difficult undertakings in this game is the industrial area. Very few CJ's I've read over the years have gotten it right but you've once again displayed your mastery in all things SC4. Can't wait to see what's up next!

@TekindusT Thanks for the nice words! Doing the entire port would be an absolutely massive undertaking.. I can't make any promises but it is something that I've already given a little thought towards so we'll see *;)

@Tyberius06 Thank you, glad you enjoyed the update *:)
