Hi! I've started playing SimCity again after about a 20 year break. I love the new mods and am lucky to have a 18 year old son that can get them installed for me. I'm also a pilot and would like to know if there is a mod to upgrade the airports. Thanks for having this site!!

There are a million (and seven) mods for creating realistic airports.

I'm not an expert as I only tinkered around with them when I was interested in Fly-In Residential Neighborhoods long, long ago. I'll leave it to other peeps to make suggestions and/or you can browse the STEX to see what we have. (Should you ever need a runway piece that says PRIVATE instead of numbers, I did make one and we could prolly find whatever post it's attached to.)

Hi, I've been playing SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow and Spore since 2014. I'm interested in trying out some of the other SimCity games and maybe a few mods as well. I'm also a fan of games like Timberborn, Planet Coaster, and Civ 6.

Hello everyone! My name is Yura, I'm from Ukraine.
I really love the game SimCity 4 — about 10 years ago, I even recreated it in paper form. Now I’m back to doing it again. I’ve been chatting with a friend who also loves this game, and he recommended that I join this wonderful platform to share my work and get inspired by buildings and ideas from other people. So I decided to go for it!

Yes, unfortunately, there is a war in our country. Due to health reasons, I can’t move around much, so I mostly stay at home. BUT! That doesn’t stop me from working with my hands and using my mind!  Right now, my son and I are making paper models together and having a great time!

So, hi to all! I’d love to share my paper models. Could you please tell me where and how it’s appropriate to do that? I haven’t seen a suitable topic yet.

Hello everyone, my name is Agus and I'm from Argentina. A long time ago, when I was six years old, my father got me this beautiful game. At the time, I didn't understand anything, but I still loved building mini cities and destroying them with god mode. 

To be honest, I didn't expect to find such an active community for this wonderful game. I've been trying to play Cities: Skylines, but it's just not the same. I don't know why, but I feel like it's a game without a soul, lol.

I just wanted to make a post of thanks and encouragement to this great community. I just recently decided to get back into this game after a 12 year break and it is great to see the improvements that have been made with the DLL mods! I am glad to see this game community is still at it making this game better than ever. There have been some great games like Factorio that I have played in the past several years but no one has made a city builder to surpass SC4. Cheers!

        I am a returning mayor. I played sc4, sc2000 back in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. I have started playing again and relearning everything. I am quite impressed with all the additions and improvements even if the game is over 20 years old. It’s still younger than my 3/4 century age, I am no expert but I can learn new things. I know my way around my laptop, so, so far I have been able to read and experiment. I am working on my region. It will be no work of art but it is fun!
