This is exactly, why I'm raising these questions. Also it's called pre support. So maybe later there won't be another 10^x support question topic about why this is not working, why that is not working. I'm sure you would be happy to answere all of them at time... I'm not really if it's avoidable by providing some simple description and some cleaned up contents at the first place. Also other reason, why one should drop more BROWN onto the exchanges, than what is already there. It's not about hardcore players. It's the opposite, people who are not hardcore players just want to play without hickups. Like more or less 80-90% of the people, those people who more or less unable to read the f... readmes to patch something to make work an other thing properly. I can change stats easily, heck I wouldn't even use these ancient lots, rather make new ones using the props. The whole Project ZIP started with people were complaining about the *.exe installers that it's too time consuming to extract them (plus the false positive anti-virus alerts). Guess what, it's time consuming for me as well, but I'm doing it for them and for future new and returning people.
This whole topic what we've just been discussing here at this moment, started with the simple fact, the some people was not able to extract a simple split-up *.zip or rar file. I dowloaded all Somy's work within 2.5-3 hours yesterday (upon downloading I already renamed most of them to give them additional english titles from google translator, so I would know what is what) with additoinal images, this gave me 89+53 files (53 images), which I was able to extract one by one (making sure that everything gets it's own folder and I don't get files on loose) without any issue in the next 1-2 hours to get 53 folders with the contents. So in essence this would be like 53 single uploads to STEX. So you see, while we were talking about it, I already got half of the job done. The funny thing starts here actually. These lots are using mostly japanese characteres. So your not far-eastern specific game edition won't handle the names at all. Of course we can provide these as is and then within a few months in this very same topic someone needs to answere to a question like this:

So yepp, quality always is over quantity. If it can be done better this time, then it should be done better instead of just dumping brown onto the exchanges. Specially in this case, where the actual contents, what we are talking about, are available by their original creator on his own website. Just ones need to learn using google search bar and be able to type what is *.z01 file extension and how I can open/extract it.

Hi friends. I'm looking for ploppable hedges. Specific ones, might not actually exist.

Girafe made some really nice fence props that i've seen on lots and also in the mod i linked below.

What i'd like to know is has anyone made a set of ploppable park type lots using these props? Or similar Girafe hedges, (i'm sure there are some very similar ones i've seen on lots for a while) Most of the hedge sets out there are quite old now, perhaps if they dont exist i could work on a set after i've finished off with security fences?

This is itself an update of the BSC Hedges original set. I expanded the lots and made the Hedge Props seasonal. I've actually been meaning to update them with Girafe's excellent hedges, I also made a special "half height" version of those which I use on some of my other lots.

I´m searching since Hours on my DVD´s, without any Result. I should start to lable the DVD´s :-D

I don't understand how you are not able to plop it, since the blue rectangle shows, that you should be able to plop it. Otherwise, try to even the surface. Maybe the problem is with the uneven surface...

It shows up with a blue rectangle, so you should be able to plop it. When it's red, then you can not plop it for some reason, but on your image it's blue. So what's going on there? I used this lot many times, so the issue is definitely on your end.

And, indeed you're right. :D :D :D I missed that information, that he is already in minus. Well, this never happens with me, because I use Buggi's Extra Cheat.dll with "weaknesspays" cheat and also I use, CasperVg's hotkey based cheat for money. And I'm not playing regular gameplay.

The great thing about the RTK0 system I use, you can always alter the texture a model uses with ease. It's much harder with BAT models, since you need to colour correct the textures every time, a process that's not quick or easy to get good results. Not to mention rendering each new piece. The RTK0 method isn't always perfect, but it's consistent and quick.

Since you are doing the lotting, I don't mind taking a moment to adapt a set to the texture you require and upload them. But, it wouldn't take that long to learn how to do this yourself, the steps are reasonably easy, even for a beginner. I'd be happy to help you out in this regard. Likewise, you're free to redistribute/upload any modified variants, just because I don't need them all, doesn't mean someone wouldn't want the option.

MGB S3D Grass Props_25D60000.dat

Note, this new set includes the previous piece, so you can remove the old file, I've kept the IDs for that piece the same, so you won't have problems. I've renamed all these props so you'll find them under the prefix "MGB_Grass Prop_25D6_" in the Lot Editor.

Was wondering if you ever ended up doing a walk through on this, have been trying to figure out how to do it without luck... thanks.

The basic process is not that complex, but I don't think I ever did write it up, at least not anywhere public.

In essence, you need to make a copy of an Exemplar and S3D pair from the MGB S3D Props file. With those in a new DAT, select both items, right click and select Generate new Group and Instance to give them unique IDs. Go back to the Exemplar and update the RKT0 Property, with the new ID given to the S3D. Also, rename the Exemplar Name whilst you are here. Now you have a unique Prop, you just need to modify the texture it uses. If your texture is a Network Texture with GID 1ABE787D, you just need to Edit the base texture in the Mats tab by entering it's IID. If your texture is a Lot Texture however, GID 0986135E, this isn't going to work, S3Ds can NOT reference such textures. You you need to make a copy, I change the last digit of the ID to F, you can be 99% sure this won't conflict, note you do not need any MipMaps, just the texture ending in 4, 9 or E. I'd put that copy in the DAT with the new prop from before, now alter the GID to 1ABE787D.

Note that if you are linking to a Network Texture in the first place, you won't need the Diffuse layer. To remove it, simply right click/del group in the Anim tab of the S3D. Don't forget, you must save the S3D (not the file in Reader), before you switch to another object, failure to do so will revert all changes.

I am looking for the next Japan BAT. Stunning signage is essential to creating a Japanese style city.
I couldn't find it by visiting any Japanese BAT author's site.
If anyone has any information, I would appreciate it.

Could you tell me where did you find these images? It might help me to identify some of them. It looks like those are from @Neonsim. I only know one huge set of Japanese buildings which were never really released publicly, created by @Neonsim, although he said that he released them on some japanese sites, I couldn't not locate them anywhere. A few months ago, I made contact with him via youtube, here is the link:

Check the comment section below the video. He said, that he still had the models on an old hard drive, but I've never heard from him since then. I don't know, maybe if more people would show interest, then he would share those with us.
