Are you sure you downloaded it here? Or was it on a different site? I do not know of it here on the STEX.

(side note, this is the Bank of America Center in Houston TX)

This is called ILS (Immortal Lot Syndrome). The Cleanitol script is at the bottom of this post. *;)

Thank you!

Yes the forum post Growing Empty Lots was it. Wow the solution for stopping this problem looks like it may be quite complex!

Just to make sure I understand correctly-  If I delete an item (a BAT) from the Plugins folder that is already grown or exists in a city, when I then try to play that city the game will crash? And also will corrupt that city file permanently?

It appears I may have mixed up my terminology. ILS is unrelated here. The answer is no to both questions*. If you do that, that's when you'll see a brown box. This specific problem is caused by poor modding by the original creator and it is not super hard to correct. If you do come across items that are not in the list, please feel free to report them on the STEX so they can get looked at and hopefully fixed.

*There are certain specific mods where this is the case - airport and seaport controllers are one example. With 99% of regular buildings this is not the case though.

Does anyone know where I can find this building?  I know the BAT already exists because I downloaded it a long time ago, but it's since disappeared.

Been looking for this one...

There is a file by a creator named torremayor that appears to be very similar...

BoA.JPG

I've been looking for it but can't find where it might have come from - maybe the old SC4D site? There are a couple ST members with similar names, but there are no uploads. Perhaps someone else recognizes it and can name the source...?

Thanks for the name! *:thumb:

@Maddux1985 and @CaptCity
Yeah the building is from Torremayor, and it was re-hosted on SC4Devotion for a while both as Torremayor - Bank of America Centre (a dummy lot and the model)

bankofamerica_day.jpg

and in a model pack called torremayor MEGA Pack Vol02.

vol02_day.jpg

I'm not promising anything, but I see if I can get it wrapped up sooner and I put it up to SC4Evermore.

Hi, I'm looking for a WMP Dependenced: "wmp_docklands3_props.dat". It is part off the WMP Rural Docklands 3, which you can find here on the STEX.

You could download it from WMP internet page, but that is down.

Does anyone know another location to download it?

I believe it is part of this download (Link). The originals were re-complied and uploaded here. Looks like the links need updating.

I've been meaning to clean-up the WMP contents on STEX for 3 years, but too many other stuffs came up in these years. All the wmp seawalls are in the WMP Mega Props vol04, the Ferry landing models and props are in the Vol03. The generic props are mostly in the Vol01 and the industrial props are in the Vol02. There is a Vol05, that contains the transportation (mostly rail station) related props and models.

Install the PEG OPPs mod and then show us images about the affected lots... Thanks!

Sidenote: you probably will need the WMP Essentials too, because that contains some of the dummy building models (something that I meant to clean-up, but had no time to do it) that are quite common with the WMP releases.

Hello, I'm finding CSGdesign's plugins. 5 plugins can be found in wayback machine (link), but only one file survives.

  • Basic Concrete Seawall
  • Small Community School House
  • Modification of Edmonton's Region View mod
  • Basic Ferry Pontoon
  • Chainlink Fence (uploaded here)

And the screenshots below are Basic Concrete Seawall and Basic Ferry Pontoon respectively.

Hey all!

I've been back onto a Simcity4 binge while I have time off work before Christmas. For a while now I am plagued with the Coit Tower and the St. Ritzy, two of my most hated Maxis buildings. I am constantly on the lookout for new BATS and lots to fill my city with more variety, especially when its common in  my bigger cities for these two lots to repeatedly spawn next to eachother. Any help, guidance or suggestions are deeply appreciated!

Realistically I'm looking for any CO$$$ or CS$$$ BATs that would look more at home in a modern or 1990s themed city. :)

Photos for reference:

Much appreciated!

To all the content creators, if you upload items to SC4EVERMORE, please also upload to this website for those of us who find the SC4EVERMORE website frustrating to use.

The old format was better.  You could see a brief description of the upload, a photo, and it showed if you had uploaded it or not.  We would hate for your hard work to go unnoticed so please uploaded to this website as well.

And before the SC4EVERMORE owners of the website start in on me, I'm not bashing you or trying to start a fight.  I'm simply letting you know the new format is not user friendly.  Instead of being upset, try taking this as constructive criticism and simplify the new format to the similar format of the old website.

Simply give:

1.  The title of the item

2.  A brief description of the item

3.  A photo(s) of the item(s)

4.  And show if we have already downloaded the item or not, and the date of that download in case it has been updated.

Thanks.

Sadly there's few other options. Taking a look through the dependency list it looks like about a bit more than half is currently available. If you're missing specific things I can probably help with that.

There's also @FrankU 's farms (1) (2) (3), among others, but while they do suffer from a similar situation at the moment, they appear to be more complete.

There are actually "only" two missing dependencies for Colossus Farming, as far as I can tell.

Current status:

  • BSC Common Dependencies Pack - all on SC4E
    • BSC Textures Vol 01.dat
    • BSC_TexturePack_Cycledogg_V 01.dat
    • BSC MEGA Props - CP Vol01.dat
    • BSC Mega Props - CP Vol02.dat
    • BSC Mega Props - CP Industrials
    • BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol 01.dat
    • BSC MEGA Props - NewmanInc Vol01.dat
    • BSC MEGA Props - NewmanInc Vol02.dat
    • BSC Mega Props - JMyersAgriculture01.dat
    • BSC Mega props - JMyers Agriculture 02.dat
  • SPAM_Super_Resource_Pack - here
  • VIP_RuralPack - here
  • VIP RuralPack Expansion1 - here
  • VIP Agri Pack - here
  • WMP stuff - here
    • WMP Mega Props vol. 01 - Misc General Props
    • WMP Mega Props vol. 02 - Misc Industrial Props
  • French stuff - all on TSC
    • Nams PROPS PACK Vol 1.dat
    • Nams PROPS PACK Vol 2.dat
    • Nams BAT PROPS PACK Vol 02.dat
    • Nams BAT PROPS PACK Vol 03.dat
    • Manchou_Houses_AG.dat
  • SC4D LEX LEGACY - BSC VIP Girafe Flora Pack - on SC4E
  • Girafe Wheat - unavailable
  • SC4D LEX Legacy - JENX FAUNA 1.0 - on SC4E
  • Fantozzi Audio Essentials - on SC4E
  • Nexis_GreenhouseSet.dat - here (in the FrankU farm fields)
  • Wieśpak - here (new link posted on the Colossus Farming page)
  • RFR Maize Set - here (link works) but causes CTD on Mac (I haven't looked into the files to figure out why; I just removed the maize lots from the mod)
  • Hund88 Sunflower (Shadows) - here (link works)
  • SFBT Weinberge - unavailable
  • Simmer2 Stone walls - here
  • VIP Les Murets d'Aubrac - here
  • CP Seasonal woods - here

More specifically, the missing files are listed as:

  • Grfe_family_haybale_A
  • Grfe_family_haybale_e1
  • Grfe_family_haybale_e2
  • Grfe_family_haybale_e3
  • Grfe_family_haybale_e5
  • sfbt_rebe01
  • sfbt_rebe02
  • sfbt_rebe03
  • sfbt_rebe04

Due to the massive amount of props and textures used by the set, it's possible some other dependencies are missing that aren't part of the list; some of the lots show missing dependencies in PIM-X even though I know I have all of these that are currently available (although since I have to run it under Wine it's possible I just didn't migrate enough of the dependency files over to the plugins folder in the imaginary "C drive"). However, I currently can run Colossus Farming without any egregious issues if I remove all the vineyard-related lots (and RFR maize) and bulldoze any FzFarmfield_GrfeWheat lots that show up.

If I recall correctly, some of the JMyers files (Hydroponics, Dairy Farms, Corn Crops Volume 2) also aren't included in the BSC Mega Props compilations. Those three (the JMyers files, Weinberge, Girafe Wheat) are the only ones I haven't been able to source, and my understanding was that they were completely unavailable until someone sorted out the LEX. If you have any leads, that would be great.

Edit: Just double-checked, the models were included in the BSC compilation but the fields weren't. I think I may have mislabeled them in my personal notes, apologies.

The models and props from the JMyers farms are in the JMyers agricultural prop packs that can be found in the BSC Common Dependencies v8 (which is the current version). So only the two above listed items are missing. The Girafe Wheat will be released as part of the Girafe Agripack, the SFBT Weinberge is still a question mark.

I've been trying to muddle through with PIM-X in attempt to find the answer myself, but am still having trouble, so...

Does anyone know what folks might use for rear exit wooden stairs? Like in JBSimio's Brownstones:

Are those likely props he used, or is it likely he modeled those stairs himself?

Thank you very much.

Those are modelled with the whole building, sadly. You could ask on the BAT Request Thread for some props for modular stairs: probably the best way to do it would be to have 3 different models, one for the first floor, other for the top one, and a third intermediate one to repeat, something alike to MattB325's modular skyscrapers.

So I recently got back into SC4 after a really long time and started playing with the Street Addon Mod that comes bundled with the NAM, but I've been having a little difficulty with the way the Streets (Default Maxis Streets, SAM Streets, etc.) will automatically link up to any Road, One Way Road, etc as you're building them. For clarity, what I mean is how you can drag a street to build it, then if you drag a road perpendicular up to the street, but don't actually intersect them, the game will auto connect them for you. It's usually a handy function but atm it's causing me trouble. Does anyone know a way to prevent this auto connect behavior, like by holding a certain key, a cheat code, or anything really? I've been trying to find answers by searching myself but haven't had any luck :(
