Sorry if this has been asked before, but I was reading the amazing post on the hidden superpowers of the vanilla bus stop the other day, and it had me wondering; are there are any "bus station" or "terminal" lots, as opposed to ones that cosmetically look like a "stop"?

I don't really care about stats, I'm just looking for something bigger than 1x1 in size. I guess, kinda like how SimCity 2000 bus stations worked? 4x4 or the like, or even larger.

This is a larger bus stop that I've used before, if this is the kind of thing you're after:

If you've you're looking for something really big, Paeng's Regional Bus Terminal is also good:

For my own question, I'm trying to track down small, private aircraft. Pretty much anything smaller than a CR9 would do, but small propeller aircraft especially. If anyone has any general advice on where to find them it would be greatly appreciated.

In addition, can anyone identify these five planes from this post? Thanks again.

I'm lost and confused on this. Anyone use @pgxpgx The Thing ?  -

Having issues with Park Fancy Fillers, and only 1 item get Brown Box

It's #60 but in game shows up as #59 > while vise / versa for #60

https://www.simtropolis.com/objects/screens/monthly_2021_03/60463fa3dd7e1_PGX-ParkFancyFillers2.jpg.eaf25331fa9f3f417dc63edd9d5a26fb.jpg

Under Live Reader it shows dependencies and have them all.   Only issue on my end that I found is I had both BSC Mega Props SG  Vol.1 and the old SG BAT Props, 4,5,6 and removed them with same Brown Box.

This gets even more confusing because it lists SM2 Easy Money as a dependency and it's not listed on Live Reader for both #59-60

Is this a correct dependency ??   Also, if you look at the comments for this file, it mentions the model was changed and not original.   By any chance, did pgxpgx  use the older model or something ?

Hi there,

Two+1 things:
First thing what you should know, that in iLieve Reader a LOT'S LD property list some of the files what were are in the lot creators plugins folder upon the creation of the lot, but that doesn't mean, that those listed files in the LD property are actual dependencies. Sometimes it can be helpful to narrow down some of the dependencies, but in many cases, specially if a LOT was created by the SC4 PIM-X (X-Tool) you simply won't have this LD property at all. You can not really rely on the data within that property. Also it wouldn't list you the texture dependencies.

There are around 2+1 more or less trustworthy method to check dependencies on a lot.

SC4 Tool - it has a Dependency Tracker function. Still one of the easiest, but also oldest method. It lists all the props and textures on a lot, but it doesn't find a dependency, it will say that "not found" and you will see an instance ID instead of the name of DAT file which should hold that prop.

SC4 DataNode - I don't have many experience with it, but it also has a dependency tracker function, the program was made by @rivit and many people are using this tool.

SC4 PIM-X - If you load a lot with PIM-X and open its lot config examplar, you have certain options what you can do with that lot. You can open the PIM-X inbuilt lot editor, add icon, or check dependencies of the lot. It works very similiar as the SC4 Tool version of the dependency tracker, but I don't think that this function was fully implemented.

I would recommend the first two options. Please, bear in mind, that there is no way that any of the current tools would tell you what is missing exactly. That would require a full database (impossible to implement, because there are many missing data, not to mention the custom creations, which might show up here and there), which we don't have. These tools can tell you that something is missing and give you a Type-Group-Instance (TGI) ID - but mostly just the Instance ID. what you can do, is to use @nos.17's Prop and Texture Catalogue, and using the Instance Id try to find the missing prop. IF it was in a prop pack which was already included to the catalogue. In many cases (like your current situation) you won't find the solution in the catalogue because the brownbox would come from a missing model/building of a building examplar).

The above example of yours actually is a user error. The wrong dependency was listed. You likely don't need the SM2 Easy Money model, also two lots were mixed on the image and in the lot naming. #60 on the image and in the readme is actualy lot #59 - PGX-BERETHOR - PFF059 Filler Monumento a Colon_cb2f46e6.SC4Lot and #59 on the image is actually lot #60 - PGX-MIGUELKUK - PFF060 Filler Monumento Ao Empresario_ab598218.SC4Lot

Which means you need something from @Berethor07. The @miguelkuk's dependency is listed properly in the readme, however the Berethor one is linked to the SM2 Easy money. What you really need is this upload:

For this "thing" upload you need the "colon3-0x5ad0e817_0x12774c3e_0x90000.SC4Model". The above mentioned lot (the building examplar) is actually based on this model. Since the model is missing you got the brown box.

Perfect that's it.  I actually just used Live Reader few days ago to totally revamp and re-organize my Park Menu.   Other then that, I don't know to do anything else, but slowly learning.

Seen PIM-X mentioned lot, and will look into that down the road.

Could you tell the source of the image?

The ships are familiar, but I don't know where they are coming from. The three factory buildings are coming from different creators I believe. The long one with green roof look like something from CP (cycledogg), I think it is the Early 19th Century Wagon Mill - the pink one which is not circled at the corner is coming from him for sure (Hankie Mill). The other two are familiar too, but don't know where they are coming from.

Thanks @gwada971! I knew that building (left handside, below the red one) is supposed to be a citynut/newman inc creation, but I totally forgot about his WFK prop set. The ships and the building is coming from that BSCBATProps Newman Inc WFK Vol01.

Howdy y'all,

Looking for some nice surface passenger rail stations/terminals.  A search yielded no results.

Any style and size,  preferably functional (transit enabled?). Looking for some variety.

Thanks!

It's most probably a custom lot. Together like this I don't think you can download this perticular set-up.

Although it might be part of the BLaM NCD Modular Railyard System

The rail yard textures are coming from

North Country Dude's Railyard and Spur Textures, Mega Pack vol1.02 but bear in mind, that the original textures were created to match with the original maxis rail. If you are a NAM (latest version which is v42 as of this time) user, you most likely will need the RealRailway (RRW) NCD BSC Texture pack Update

The railcars are coming from

BSC Mega Props JES Vol01 (most of the ortho rail cars), BSC Mega Props - JES Vol06 (angled), BSC Mega Props - JES Vol07 (more angled versions).

Alternatively by now there are other options. @Simmer2 has some rail yard texture sets (for the RealRailway - RRW version), also he created many different type of railyards or rail related lots (sidings, spurs) and many rail car props in HD. It worth to check his creations.
