I really like the "feel" i get from your small towns, it's like a nostalgic feeling but you are not exactly building "olde world" either, so IDK how to put it, but Really cool!

Thank you @SneakyDeaky...To tell the truth I'm still looking for what I want...It's almost there but it's still not there.

Thank you @art128...I'm still in the Foret de Paimpont. The 3rd tile of my current region. But I really like the idea of a small port town.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

(Harry Lime to Holly Martins...Graham Greene's THE THIRD MAN...1949)

Made some progress on the Hawaiian shopping center.

Hey man looks great, one suggestion if u dont mind, the BJs looks a bit too big and tall when compared to the rest of the plaza.  My suggestion would be to downsize it roughly to the same dimensions as the other two outparcels u have toward the “south” side of the lot.

Nice. I like that big parking lot.

today's spooky project

The second one is based on the Hell Is Real billboard on Interstate 71 in between Cinci and Columbus. I saw it made for CS and was like, I need one for SC4 as well. Those evangelical billboards are all over rural areas of the countryside in the US.

They're all along Interstate 24 between Georgia and Tennessee. I see them every time I visit Chattanooga. They have one of those megachurches and a Bible college somewhere up there. The anti-abortion billboards bother me the most because they read like a child addressing a parent and are intended to guilt-trip people into avoiding getting abortions.

I'm not a mod or anything and I 100% agree with you on the woman's right to choose, but I also do know that it could trigger a debate that could go off topic on this thread. I would suggest treading lightly around that topic on some people.

On the topic of the evangelical billboards there is certainly an irony that I may be doing this for the spooky competition this month due to the content of some of them, lol

@Sniffeh thinking about it more, I should do some Salem-themed ones. Love Salem, MA. Cassadaga, FL is another occult-type town I could borrow from. There's so many occult and spooky things in the country that could be done for the game that hasn't been done
