Unfortunately, there are only images from Google Maps and a streetview view, but I think it's pretty original

Finally finished off Northern Brooklyn! Added some industry based on what I could see from Google Maps and Street View.

This area would technically be Greenpoint. North of that would be Long Island City and I have the means of roughly creating the layout, density and feel of the area.

 

I gave Greenpoint more industry to reflect a pre 1980s New York vibe: rougher, grimier and with far less gentrification. I've done that with most of The Big Mango, especially Manhattan.

First try to see if the buildings fit. Still completely without props or basetextures.
Now missing two buildings, various filler and the Props.
Not to mention the chaotic street management....

I do not think the project will ever finish.....
So the buildings but the whole airport probably not.
I almost finished it and then came the data crash. I do not think I have the nerve again to build these crazy streets around the airport again

I recently completed the Hornby Street Greenway.  It connects the Granville Greenway with the Beach Avenue Greenway.

Here you can see the entire greenway.  Granville is on the left and Beach Avenue is in the bottom right corner.

I actually removed the buildings for the above pic so the entire greenway could be visible.  Here is what this area currently looks like:

Some closeups.  This first one is the connection with Granville and a moderately sized transit center:

The end of the Hornby Greenway at the waterfront and its connection with the Beach Avenue Greenway:

I'm also beginning the early stages of lotting a larger district to tie in with these greenways, the beginnings of which can be seen here:

I go over every square tile- everything gets checked! It's something I picked up upon three or four years ago reading Paeng's comments about how he builds his cities, he said he checked every square to make sure it looked right and everything fitted in. God Paeng was good...

A Getty with a blank canopy. These are everywhere in the mid-Atlantic region of the USA in varying states of decay.. maybe I'll release it with a B-side set I am doing, I've accumulated a ton a buildings (around 30-40) that are filler and are basically a B-side set with varying quality, or I could add it onto the Rural Gas Station set that I already have.

Trying some different pump brands and modeling with the two-pump model.

@jevian2000 I might be using these methods for a 4 or 8 pump setup for a potential future UDF. I'm definitely considering doing one over the next few months as obviously I'm very familiar with them.
