I can't tell you how often I've turned down a property because it didn't have a bunch of cellos climbing up the wall.....

Oh, it's cellos. I first mistook this for a case of unnecessary violins.

The building is really cool, though. I haven't yet made up my mind as to whether I like it because of or in spite of that wall decoration, but I guess that proves the building has some character.

As for that NYC building, the small SC4 scale makes the building appear to be even more detailed than the original! The 3x2 size will make it very versatile and useful, too. By the way, particularly because we don't have that many buildings for the Chicago 1890 tileset, have you considered making some basic colour variations à la Aaron_Graham? I feel that this goes a long way in making the inevitable repetition less obvious. Just asking, of course - this BAT is a 100% download anyway!

The calm before the development boom:

This is the southeaster tile of Vancouver.  It is home to the final stretch of the Kingsway, which has been entirely rebuilt.  I've also rezoned the entire tile (outside of that disheveled industrial area that I will tackle later).  In the older days I pockmarked my blocks with tree and other park lots, I've since moved away from that with fully zoned blocks, which I think add a bit more density.

The intersection of Boundary and Kingsway.  The Boundary LRT ends here and merges with the Kingsway LRT that will eventually wind its way down to New Westminster:

More to come after some growing!

Here is a reference point.  Working inside the yellow square.

That tram rotunda be a L piece instead of T piece as there´s no continuation or that´s a emergency turnaround ?

I just haven't built the rest.  That tram will be continuing.

These are all 1x2 or 2x1, so even smaller. *:ohyes:

With the colour variations, I'll go one better. As these are all corner buildings (the London pack was mostly non-corners) and, where the building has sufficient massing, I'll mirror it so it works on the opposite corner, and I'll do a colour variation. It will make it feel like an entirely different building which suits me as I tend to get sick of the subject matter when making these.

Whoa, I totally misjudged the footprint! Okay, at 1x2 / 2x1 it's not a wonder that it ends up packed with details. So many architectural elements on such a tiny space!

As for the variations, I... I guess I can live with that. *:thumb: Perfect!

I made these several months ago for a marine map I was developing at the time. If there is interest I will release them.

I think that complements coastal cities very well. I would use it. Also, whats the rocky texture above?

You mean the blocks above the tetrapods?

Edit - If you mean the rocks at the bottom of the last pic, you can find them here

...and here

The rocky blocks? don't know what correct description would be. I was referring to the second mod you listed but both seem useful. I'll try them out!!
