And again filled a small gap.
The building of the gas union stands. Now the gas pipes arrive where they should go.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

The old harbor bridge is too low for shipping traffic.

Work is already underway on a new bridge.

Thanks for posting the info.

The greatest irony?

Less than 5 minutes to re-scale and re-index in the model tweaker & reader. :noway:

It's a really stunning centrepiece.

It would work either way, IMO: as a static landmark, you can add the demand satisfied exemplar without having to bother with the rest of the reward type stuff and you can easily add the park/landmark effects.....

PS: the U-store it looks really nifty, too. I especially like the idea of the detachable sign. *:thumb:

Thanks @mattb325 Perhaps its because I'm using Gmax but I have tried that method with a 250,000 poly model I did a while back and I wasn't too happy with the result. I found the texture to be a bit hazy.

So I don't mind the longer waiting time in order to get a perfect HD render.

By the way I love the new slogan....OuzWF2B.gif

^^ I know, imagine someone hanging such a big protest banner from the Clifton suspension bridge (made famous by a certain avatar) of all places? Perish the thought. *:P

Here is yet another commercial building and lot I made in my spare time. There are a couple of them not to far from my work place and one of them even stores cars and containers.
Such as the one below... I call it SM2 U Store It

The building and sign are separate items, this is so the building can be repurposed for other reasons if anyone wishes to re-lot it.

As always amazing detail.  That scaffolding in the 2nd pic - the wood planks with uneven lengths - superb realism.

Hi there!

AXh54Na.jpg

The second urban station lot is out now, but before the link let me tell a little background story.
I've met with the Shinjuku Complex lot at the very fist time in Samgoogolplexian/@Moonraker0 SimCity 4: Let's Play Pinecastle youtube videos and I started using it in my first city attempts from the late 2014. Than later in 2015 when I frist started to use the Lot Editor (with a huge lack of knowladge about anything), this complex was one of the first relots what I've ever made to change the rail textures (East Wing) and some additional parts (the West Wing).
This is one of my favourite station complex in the game and in the past couple of years it got many alterations. Now I feel it's time to give one of them to you. Some of you may know that CounterPoint is a bit of special part of my capitol city in SC4 (Noir City), partially standard European, partially very parisian and there are parts of it which recall more Far-Eastern architectures. The last (now released) version of the Shinjuku Station Complex is the main central station of CounterPoint. For myself, I like to mix the different styles, that's why the Japanese station complex got very western additional buildings on the East Wing (this is v1) and since it was made mostly for my CounterPoint City part I call it CounterPoint Shinjuku. Although some of you might not like this mixture, therefore I made a more japanese looking version (v2), and I call it just simple Shinjuku East Wing. The dimensions for both wings were changed compared to the original LOTs made by
@tepodon

Have fun!

I have always loved this station but could never quite figure out how to use it so it fit in well - putting the two parts together, and especially what I thought was a 3rd part with that overhead walkway.  And the way the tracks just sort of come out from under the station in front, I always wondered if something was missing - you have to be very creative with it - I see you covered the rather strange effect with an elevated avenue though, very nice.  Looks great!

Hi!

Thanks!
Oh, with the elevated avenue I copied the RL position of the Shinjuku Station more or less. If you check it on google maps satelite view or street view (see picture below), you can find something similiar. That's why it looks strange... :)
