The Craziest Interchanges from Your Country/State
tepodon replied to MandelSoft's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
Interchanges from Japan: Super Confusing/Super Crammed 1. Edobashi Junction (Tokyo, Japan): Edobashi Junction - double deck, super confusing to drive through 2. Miyanogi Junction (Chiba, Japan): Miyanogi JCT - if you've ever been to Tokyo through Narita Airport you've most likely gone over this interchange 3. Misato Junction (Saitama, Japan): Misato JCT - very nice interchange 4. Kawaguchi Junction (Saitama, Japan): Kawaguchi JCT - again very nice 5. Ooizumi Junction (Tokyo, Japan): Ooizumi JCT - a partially underground interchange 6. Tsurugajima Junction (Saitama, Japan): Tsurugajima JCT - everything is jammed into one corner 7. Kariba Junction (Kanagawa, Japan): Kariba JCT 8. Shinhodogaya Interchange (Kanagawa, Japan): Shinhodogaya IC 9. Tomobe Interchange (Ibaraki, Japan): Tomobe IC 10. Kooriyama Junction (Fukushima, Japan): Kooriyama JCT 11. Nagoya Minami Interchange (Aichi, Japan): Nagoyama Minami IC It's not in any ranking order, just posted some crazy interchanges in Japan. Hope you guys send some aid to those affected by the Earthquake and Tsunami Red Cross -
Japan needs your help today. Over 300,000 people have been forced to evacuate and are in need of much needed supplies such as food and blankets. Many of them have lost their loved ones, homes, and businesses forever. Thousands have been confirmed dead or missing. Don't let the people who have survived feel alone, don't let them feel cold and hungry, don't let them lose any more hope in life than they already have. Countries around the world have sent a helping hand in whatever way they could. Let us remember that the people who are in need of help now have been some of the most generous people, donating billions of dollars in times of humanitarian crisis across the globe. They have lent us a helping hand many times over. But more than that, let us remember that they are fellow human beings, and that they deserve our best help and assistance. Send hope! You can make a difference, it's not that hard. I'm sure all across the world there are organizations already collecting donations out on the streets, but there are also many organizations and agencies seeking aid online. Japan needs your help. You can make a difference. If you are in Canada: Red Cross Canada If you are in the United States: American Red Cross If you are in the United Kingdom: Red Cross UK Si vous êtes en France: Croix-Rouge Francaise Wenn Sie in Deutschland sind: Deutsches Rotes Kreuz You can also send via Google: Google Crisis Response 日本にいる皆様へ、どうか被災地の方々に希望を: 日本赤十字社 Thank you for everyone on Simtropolis who are so giving and so kind. You are all the best. ありがとうございます、よろしくお願いします。

I was able to contact all family members and friends in Japan via email or Skype. Most of my friends were able to do the same. God bless those people sending aid. I know the last two days have been some of the darkest hours for many of us. We saw devastation beyond our imagination, people's homes swept away, black smoke and massive fires, and the faces of those just realizing what had happened, and the cries for help from those still stranded. But we have also seen the best in all of us. We have seen people from around the globe, asking, "What can we do to help?" We have seen rescue workers from China, South Korea, America, and Germany, and many more arrive from around the world. We have seen people sending their deepest condolences and donations to those ravaged by the earthquake. But let us be reminded, that none of us are impervious to disaster. Let us be reminded that this could have happened to any of us, any where, and at any time. Let us be reminded of the virtues of being prepared. And let us also be reminded, or rather reassured, that people, no matter where they are, no matter what their differences may be, are always willing to help. Let us be reminded that it is human nature to help those in need. I thank all of you for your prayers and condolences, and I thank all of you who have sent aid and are working around the clock to send help. Thank you all.

How to use Sim City Force for Japanese BAT's
tepodon commented on tepodon's City Journal Entry in TOKYO 4.0
Replies: TowerDude: ya, SCForce has some excellent content that makes you wish these folks also posted on Simtropolis. Just goes to show that the SC4 community is very much alive and active and fantastic beyond the English speaking world. Gath22: I'm happy I could be of some help. I know the site is pretty hard to understand, especially if you don't speak the language. If you want links to other Japanese SC4 sites you can just look around Sim City Force. As I wrote on the guide, SCForce is really a forum or blog set up so that SC4 builders and BATer's can post links to their own websites, so just look for these links. jj88: ya the site is difficult to use even if you do know the lingo. Thanks for the compliment -
eerie, love the rail bridge and the isolated house feels like something from a Stephen King novel

I would love to see a region view again, just to see your progress Wonderful coastline, makes me despise the fact that I'm not using any water in my CJ, argh

How to use Sim City Force for Japanese BAT's
tepodon commented on tepodon's City Journal Entry in TOKYO 4.0
I got it no problem. Ya, I guess the easy solution is to just use google language tools, thats always a safe bet. Of course Sim City Force is a difficult site to use even if you do understand Japanese. -
Sim City Force Guide In this update I would like to show you all in the English speaking world how to use Sim City Force. So first of all here is the link to Sim City Force. Now just follow the instructions and pictures so that you can find your way to cool Japanese BAT's! 1. Get to Sim City Force. 2. Once your on Sim City Force you should find yourself on a website just like the one pictured below. 3. Scroll down a bit and you will find yourself looking at a bunch of links and buttons. You will see something similar to what I have below for your visual reference. In the picture below I have labled the two essential links for your Japanese BAT needs. The link that I have labled in red links to recent files, while the blue links to the old archives. 4. Lets first click on the link I have labeled in red. 5. You should now find yourself on a page that looks just like the one pictured below. Sim City Force is different from Simtropolis because you cannot actually download anything directly from Sim City Force. Sim City Force is more like a blog or forum with a bunch of links to other sites you can download from, usually the personal websites of the BATers. 6. Scroll down a bit to find some links to BATs!!! You should see a bunch of pictures of really cool looking BAT's. Here's an example I have pictured below. 7(a). If you find a picture of a BAT you like find the link to the download page. In this example I have taken an entry by Raika. As you can see in the picture below, I have circled a link called "Home" in red. This is the link to Raika's homepage, and is not in itself a link to download. After reaching Raika's page you will have to find your way around to look for the download page. Don't worry, most folks (Raika) included, label their download links in English. 7(b). But sometimes people don't have a homepage, and they provide another link to another site where you can download. In the picture below I have provided a perfect example of an author that does not have a homepage and has provided us with links to download his/her BAT. In some other cases some BATer's post direct links to download files directly without the hassel of looking for links and searching their homepages. In the pictures below I have shown two perfect examples of BATer's that don't have a homepage but provide links directly to download their content. Directions to Past Archives Lets go back to the Sim City Force Homepage, so that I can give you directions to the Sim City Force Past Archives. 1. You should find yourself back where we started to find the recent files as I have pictured below. This time click on the link I have labled in blue. 2. You will find yourself on a page that looks like the one I have pictured below. Scroll down. 3. You will find a list that closely resembles the one pictured below. These link to past BAT archives; all the BAT's that have been posted on Sim City Force. (note of caution: many of the old posts no longer work because their authors have shut down their websites) The older files are located at the top of the list and the newer ones at the bottom. I hope this helps some of you who are struggling trying to use Sim City Force. Good Luck!

Replies: sese: thanks Divania: thanks for the compliment, hope you keep takin' a look at my CJ figgy: sauce is good, so is just plain salt and peppers andromakon: ya SCForce is pretty hard to figure out if you don't speak the language. You do see all the pictures of the cool BATs they have up there right? Lets take an example: http://itmedicine.s80.xrea.com/simedit/lev-bbs.cgi?bid=SC4=2-4&skin=skin/config/=/simedit/skin/config/&style=1&page=2&ppid=1242617867497298#1242617867497298 this is Mozukuss's brilliant masterpiece. Anyways when you're on this site on the top right corner of the article you should find a link says "Home," in the case of Mozukuss, after clicking home, you should end up here you know what I'll make a step by step guide for you to figure out how to use SCForce on my next update.
